There's so many Spanish schools in Barcelona, which one do I choose?! As an indecisive "C" student in my former school life I was very worried that I would flounder in class, be bored and also not pick the right school.

However this would be far from the truth. I took A1.2 level, 2 hour classes for one month. The classes are so fun and engaging. My wonderful classmates were all from different countries and backgrounds, adding a dimension to discussion and dynamics.

And of course Raul, our teacher. He was soo funny and patient and made learning exciting. Raul is an excellent teacher.

I learned so much and it melted away my fears of being a student again, so much that I signed up for in person Spanish classes back home.

I’ve had a fantastic experience learning Spanish with Isaac. His passion for teaching really stands out, and he brings so much positivity and energy to every class. He has a great sense of humor, which makes lessons fun and engaging, and he creates a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.

Isaac explains concepts clearly, adapts to his students’ needs, and genuinely cares about their progress. Thanks to his teaching style, learning Spanish has been both enjoyable and motivating. I will miss him 😭

I spent 3 months at World Class Bcn. When I booked, I requested per mail to be placed in level A1.2 (as stated on the website) but when I arrived they put me in A1.1 without notifying me first. I could only stay in A1.1 or go to A2.1, which meant I had to do a lot of self-study. The school is rather unorganized and relies heavily on the work of unpaid interns. That is probably why it is the cheapest language school in Barcelona, in addition to being located in El Raval. Be prepared to see a lot of drug use and addicts around the school, though I rarely felt unsafe. Classes were supposed to be maximum 10 people, but at some point we had 13 people in our class. For more introverted people, classes of such sizes are not ideal due to the many classroom exercises. The school promotes to offer free filtered water but employees get annoyed when students want to take some as it's in the teachers room. Some teachers were great, especially Sergio & Andrea, and the interns put a lot of effort into organizing daily events to meet others. Overall, a fine school and good experience here but there are probably better options if you're willing to spend a bit more money.

I did 2.5 months in this school starting from A2 fully intensive with Sergio. Sergio is a great teacher, very patient and deep understanding of Spanish. I’ve had a few language teachers learning German and Spanish, he has been my favourite so far!

Best price in the city or sure and a very nice vibe there. They are very chill about changing classes or pausing your learning etc which was very helpful for me.

The only negative is the class size was quite big in my opinion, always around 10 or more in a relatively small room. It was manageable but not suitable for all learners.

I honestly don’t even know where to start because this place is so much more than just a language school. From the very first day I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with open arms by the warmest, kindest people you could ever imagine. The atmosphere is so friendly and positive that you instantly feel comfortable and motivated to learn.

Every single day there’s something happening (fun events, activities, and chances to meet new people from all over the world). You don’t just study here, you live unforgettable experiences, make real friendships, and grow not only in language but also as a person.

My teacher, Joan, is truly exceptional. He’s patient, understanding, and unbelievably good at explaining even the most difficult things in such a simple and enjoyable way. You can see that he genuinely cares about his students and is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everyone understands. He has a real passion for teaching, and that energy is contagious, it makes you love learning even more.

And it’s not just Joan, all the teachers here are absolutely wonderful. They are so warm, approachable, and genuinely care about your progress. Each of them brings their own unique style and personality to the classroom, creating a perfect balance of professionalism and fun.

If you’re looking for a place where learning feels exciting, where people treat you with kindness, and where every day brings something new, this is it. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. There are daily events organized by the amazing Italian guy, Jugen, he brings great energy and makes it easy to meet new people.

My first contact was the lovely Silva, who went above and beyond to help me even before I arrived in Barcelona. As I’m not from the EU, her support made everything so much easier.

The teachers are passionate, friendly, and genuinely care about each student’s progress. It’s such a great experience overall!

Excellent school. Reception is super friendly and Martyna made the onboarding super easy. They are very accommodating if you need to postpone a class to another date if needed. I have Ana as my teacher, who is excellent and super down to earth. All round good vibes and excellent value for money, 100% recommend.

I joined the school three months ago. I started completely from scratch and now I’ve already finished level A2

The classes were really intensive and very well structured. There was a good balance between learning new vocabulary, grammar and speaking practice. There were only eight people in my group, so everyone always had the chance to share their opinion and talk. The classes were in the morning so I had a lot of free time in the afternoons to enjoy beautiful Barcelona

Our teacher Lara taught us throughout all this six months. She was always very friendly, well-prepared for every lesson, attentive to everyone and answered all our questions really professionally

I've been taking an evening Spanish course at World Class BCN for a few months, starting from B1, and I'm really happy with it! The school is super work-friendly, making it easy to fit classes into my schedule as I work during the day. My teacher, Lourdes, is young, professional, and makes every lesson clear and dynamic. The classes are small, so we get lots of opportunities to practice actual speaking. The environment is so young and motivating. Plus, it is accredited by the Cervantes Institute, so I totally recommend it!!

I found World Class Barcelona, and I am so happy with my experience there.

This is a great school!

The staff at the reception are super friendly and they all speak English too. There are different types of classes (full-time and part-time), multiple levels available, different schedules, and even one-to-one lessons.

The value for money is really good compared to other language schools in Barcelona. At World Class Barcelona, you don’t pay any extra fees for books – they’re included in the price. Plus, the more weeks you book, the bigger the total discount. And the cherry on top: you can try a free trial class!

The school also offers lots of activities – walking tours, short weekend trips outside Barcelona, bar crawls, and sports events. It’s a great way to meet other people from the school, which is super international :)

I started in January at the A1 level with Raúl – he’s an amazing teacher and speaks English very well, which really helps when you don’t understand Spanish at the beginning. I just finished the B2 level with Laia, who is also an excellent teacher. She speaks several languages, including English. Both of them have a similar vibe since they’re friends, which makes the experience feel very consistent. I’ve also met a few substitute teachers at the school and they were all great too.

The classes are fun and dynamic. There’s a good balance between vocabulary, grammar, speaking, and games during the last 10–15 minutes of class. And no worries – for those starting at the A1 level, the teachers explain in a mix of Spanish and English to make it easier.

All the classmates I’ve had were kind, welcoming, and warm. You can really be yourself, and some people even become good friends!

I loved learning Spanish there! The teachers are really attentive and very kind. The only problem I encountered was the wait in our group for a regular teacher, but I know it wasn't easy to find someone this summer. Anyway, I would have loved to stay longer in Barcelona and continue the classes!

I was overall very happy with the classes there. The classes usually have a chill and relaxed approach (some might say too chill), but for me it was perfect. I liked my last teacher a lot. However, I experienced many teacher changes and people come an go very regularly, which I didn't like that much. Also, the level of the students is very different and it sometimes would make more sense if students were not allowed to higher classes, if they are not ready.

Really great Spanish school. The courses are very well structured & the teachers are amazing. You get a lot of practice for writing, speaking and listening. They organise different activities every week so it is a great way to build your community & learn Spanish at the same time. Would recommend 100%

I studied Spanish at World Class Bcn for 4 months, attending evening classes twice a week. I joined at the end of A1 level and successfully completed A2.1 — and I really enjoyed the whole experience.

What I appreciated most was the teacher, the friendly atmosphere, and how well-balanced the program was. We didn’t just learn grammar — we also practiced pronunciation, played language games, and had fun while learning. The group was great too, and I felt very comfortable during all the classes.

The school also organizes activities outside the classroom — I went on a couple of excursions, which made the experience even more immersive.

Thanks to this course, I now understand much more, can speak more fluently, and write with more confidence. I highly recommend this school, especially if you’re looking for a place where you can study Spanish after work in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

I’ve been studying at this Spanish school from A2 to B1, and now I’m continuing with B2 — and it’s been such a fantastic journey! I started with Bea, who is an incredible teacher — so patient, fun, and really helps you build confidence. Now I’m learning with Laia. Her classes are dynamic and engaging, and I feel like I’m really making progress.

There are always fun activities happening — city tours, wine tastings, and so many opportunities to meet people and practise Spanish outside the classroom. It’s a perfect mix of learning and having fun.

I studied Spanish at Worldclass for three months and I can say that I had a great time! The teachers are very engaging, friendly and open to all kinds of questions. I did the intensive course and improved my Spanish level a lot, also because you grow together with your group which makes it a lot more fun! What I really appreciate is the broad offer of social activities organized by the school. Everyday there’s something different to do and I can highly recommend Bea‘s walking tours every Wednesday after which you’ll know Barcelona much better!

The school is great, I have a very good experience with it! Friendly atmosphere, great teachers and nice staff. As I said, the teachers are great, during my stay my Spanish has improved significantly. Another plus are the extracurricular activities organized by the school where you meet new people, corners of Barcelona or even wine tastings.

Very good experience here, the lessons are complete. Easy to learn, speak and experiment in a small group of 6 people in my case (sometimes less). Beatriz is a great teacher, she knows a lot of interesting things about history, and her walking tours in the city are amazing if you desire to know more about the secrets of Barcelona. Her recommendations are very useful as well. All the activities proposed by the school are also very cool, you can meet a lot of people and discover great places. Cherry on the cake: All of it with a really fair price. I recommend it 100%!

I had the most amazing and intensive learning experience at this school. I highly recommend it! I only had a month but I wish I had longer, and even in that short time, my ability and confidence to communicate in Spanish skyrocketed. Come to World Class if you want to learn Spanish from teachers that care about your learning and from staff that create a sense of community. My teacher has always been patient and manages to turn the dry topics into something fun. The staff do an excellent job of planning almost daily activities for the whole month, so you’ll always have something fun to do and an opportunity to socialize and make friends. As a result, the school is not only a place of instruction; the team here has created a culture worth experiencing if you’re in Barcelona for the short or long term.

I just finished the intensive A1 program at World Class Bcn and couldn’t recommend it enough. The classes were tough, but Julia and Andres did a great job making sure we understood everything and were all engaged. I loved the personal approach, everyone is so friendly and open and it’s not hard at all to start or change a class. I took an intensive course (20h/day) for three weeks to practice my Spanish. I was very happy with my teacher, Laia. She’s very energetic and good at her job! We also played a lot of games, which I loved.

Besides school, they organize a lot of activities (in summer, at least). It was super easy to meet people. Would definitely recommend!

I spent past 3 months at that school, having semi-intense Spanish B1 course with Nerea, and I can truly recommend that school! The classes are fun, and the way new material is presented is easy to understand. I feel more confident using Spanish on a daily basis. The only small con is the AC, that is shared across classes - it's either too hot or too cold, but it's an absolute minor.

I was doing Level A2 with Andrés and I truly enjoyed every lesson so far. He is very patient and does make the classes feel easy and funny as well. In our group we all rapidly became good friends which helped a lot feeling comfortable during class.

I have been enjoying studying Spanish at world class BCN since I relocated in Barcelona 2 months ago.

The teachers here are amazing, warm hearted and always make lessons fun to learn through conversation, game but also make sure we can build a solid foundation by helping us practice grammars.

I have studied at World Class BCN and I can highly recommend the team and their classes. It is a very relaxed atmosphere which is great for someone new to Spanish or like me, someone in due of a refresher! They organise trips and events every week so even if your new in town or are planning on solo travel to Barcelona, few better ways to make your stay more enjoyable.

I am semi resident in Barcelona and have tried 3 language schools there, without any doubts, world class BCN was the best. The atmosphere is so friendly, students don’t need to buy books and carry them each time, since the books are provided by the school for the class hours. In addition they always have extra programs during the week and u also have the opportunity to meet new friends from other classes.

I highly recommend World Class as a language school to anyone wanting to improve their Spanish rapidly and feel part of a friendly and supportive community. The school is very accommodating and flexible and let you try a class for free first to see if you enjoy it. They do a great job of building a community, with many organised events and outings so you can explore the city, gain a deeper understanding of the culture and make some new friends. They are a relaxed and approachable group of individuals. My partner and I are both from New Zealand and were mono-linguistic native English speakers. After attending the school and getting to an A2 level, we both feel a lot more confident in our ability to converse with native Spanish speakers in Spanish and generally feel more connected to Barcelona and Spain. Totally amazing!

Not only the only language school in Barcelona that doesn’t charge for the books, materials and registration fee. Instead you pay for the course and the school provides them for you! Also, very flexible and accommodating when it comes to the schedule.

But the experience? Just what I was looking for! Coming to Barcelona to meet new people, learn and practice the language, experience the culture and simply have fun? You should try it with World Class!

The classes are in Spanish and stimulate different learning pathways through various of methods: books, writing, group exercises, speaking and fun games! And the atmosphere throughout all that is rather laidback and friendly. Loads of people of different ages but mostly young adults so majority of them were up to hang out.

On top of that the school organises different activities, socials and sightseeing trips.

Can you imagine? I just loved it there!

I have studied many languages in my life due to my work, but I have never had such a great learning experience as I had at World Class Bcn. Their teachers are extremely professional and begin speaking in Spanish with you from the beginning, which helps SO much in the acquisition of the language. I would highly recomend the school for long & short term learning of Spanish. I have started here (from A1) 8 month ago and very happy with my decision. I just finished two weeks of the B2 course with María and I am already thinking of returning next year! I would have liked to stay longer, but for personal reasons this was not possible. The course consists of grammar exercises, but you also get to talk and practise spoken Spanish a lot, or even play games! Everyone at the school is very friendly, warm and welcoming, and I would 100% recommend it to people with any level of Spanish to take a course there. World Class is the best Spanish language school in Barcelona. Not only does it have a great location, which was a big advantage for me, but the teachers and people in the school are very friendly and helpful, making me feel at home. I also loved that they organize many events where, besides having a good time, you can practice Spanish. The classes are engaging and not conducted in a boring manner; instead, they focus on learning through fun activities and plenty of speaking practice.

I've been studying here for two months and I'm going to miss the classes when they end. I've been enrolled in the intensive course and even with 20 hours per week, the classes are never boring as the school uses different fun teaching methods. Giulia is the best language teacher I've ever had. The school also organizes many events for socializing where you can meet new people. Well deserved 5 stars 😊

I have been taking classes at World Class Bcn for almost two months now and my friends and family notice an improvement in my Spanish every week! The atmosphere is very warm and friendly and they have a nice little community of students with lots of events. The price is very good and they have many options for classes, from intensive to semi-intensive so you can make it work with your work or student schedule. I highly recommend this school!

I am studying for 6 months in Barcelona and wanted to learn Spanish during my Erasmus. I have attended World Class Bcn since 2 months at beginner level and have been doing a lot progress. I have met a lot of nice people in my class and this is mostly due to the good mood the professor Giulia has installed since the first day. I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Spanish.

A really great school with a very inclusive approach and warm, welcoming atmosphere. The teaching methods are really effective with a lot of group work involving fun and very insightful exercises — learning about really interesting topics such as Catalan and Spanish culture — the approach really helps to break the ice and encourage people to be more at ease in conversation. Have only been attending for two months and have noticed a rapid improvement. They also organise great school activities like days out to cultural events, dance classes, and trips to local cities. Highly recommend!

My husband and I enrolled for a three weeks semi-intensive class while being in Barcelona and loved every lesson of it ❤️. We wished we would have discovered the language school sooner! Uncomplicated inscription and a very familiar atmosphere and our teacher is just awesome!
