Changes to Enrollment:

• A €50 administration fee for course changes, €650 for internship placements, and €100 for accommodation changes after initial enrollment confirmation.
• Changes must be requested at least two weeks prior to the intended change.
• Postponements within two weeks of the start date are treated as cancellations.
• Housing changes incur a €100 fee and are subject to availability, with no refunds for price differences.
• Substituting services (like courses for internships) is not allowed and treated as cancellations.

Medical/Personal Absences:

• Absences for personal or medical reasons are considered cancellations; lessons will not be postponed or refunded unless supported by an official medical certificate.

Course Cancellations:

• Full refund (minus non-refundable fees) for cancellations made 14 days or more before the program start.
• Cancellations less than 14 days before start date incur a fee equivalent to one week of tuition plus non-refundable charges.
• No refund for cancellations on or after the start date.

Course Cancellations With Student Visa:

• Cancellation requires returning the original certificate of studies and a signed cancellation intent document.
• With an official visa denial, refunds are processed as follows:
• More than 15 days before start: full course value minus €250 cancellation fee.
• 15 days or less before start: full course value minus 25% of total amount paid.
• No refunds for cancellations on or after the start date, regardless of the student's arrival in Spain.
• No refund without an official visa denial document.
• Courier fees are always non-refundable.

Homestay and Shared Apartment Cancellations:

• Cancellations 14 days or more before the program start: Full refund.
• Cancellations less than 14 days before the start: Charge of one week of housing as a cancellation fee.
• Cancellations on or after the check-in date: No refund.
• For Homestay reservations of 8 weeks or more: Written notification required 4 weeks prior to termination for a refund of remaining weeks; otherwise, a 4-week cancellation fee applies.

Student Shared Apartment Cancellations:

• Cancellations 14 days or more before the program start: Refund minus a cancellation fee equivalent to one week of housing.
• Cancellations 13 days or less before the start: No refunds.

Non-Expanish Accommodation:

• Independent accommodations such as student residences, hostels, hotels, and private apartments have their own cancellation policies.
• Expanish will provide the specific booking terms and cancellation policies upon booking confirmation.

A down payment of 30% is due upon booking and the full payment is due 29 days before arrival.

For Residents of the EU/EEA and Switzerland

• No visa required to study in Spain.

For Non-EU/EEA and Swiss Citizens

• Less than 90 days: Schengen visa required.
• More than 90 days: National Student Visa (Visado de Estudiante) required.

Barcelona has the following national holidays. Please note that schools might be closed on these days. The school will inform you about the exact dates once you request a booking.
