Wonderful atmosphere with incredible teachers that are really dedicated to helping you learn Spanish. I felt like as a result of my courses at Olé my Spanish speaking ability increased to a point where I feel very confident speaking the language.

I went few months on classes and must say all best about teacher Georgina.
I can honestly say she’s a wonderful teacher. She always kept the lessons engaging and fun, and I learned a lot — especially considering I started from zero. Most importantly, I never got bored! Her teaching style made me look forward to every class with a smile 😊

I think after my experience, I can confidently say that Olé Languages is a school you can truly trust in every way.

My case was a little tricky. To have enough time for all the visa paperwork, I chose a start date that was quite far ahead. I enrolled in the course and received my official acceptance letter. But later on, I had to change my plans and put my Spain adventure on hold. Since I had already received the documents and paid the full fee, I was really worried about the refund process.

However, Olé Languages completely erased all my worries. They handled everything with outstanding honesty, transparency, and patience. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out.

Today I received the refund, and I'm deeply thankful to the whole team for making such a potentially stressful process so easy. I'm especially grateful to Marina and Valerio, who stayed in touch with me and supported me every step of the way.

Thank you once again for everything. I hope many more students will have the chance to cross paths with Olé Languages and experience the same level of warmth and support that I did.

Fantastic school! It offers an array of options to study Spanish, ranging from conversation to exam preparation. All the teachers I had have been both competent and nice. Olé is my go-to school to study Spanish in Barcelona.

I have really enjoyed studying at Ole Language School. The teachers are great, and the team is very cooperative. Juliana, in particular, has supported me a lot — she is very responsive, collaborative, and kind.

I am a retired expat, living in Spain for less than a year, and I moved to Barcelona 5 months ago. I spent some time exploring language school options. Olé offers both an intensive and extensive study option, and that flexibility was important to me. I took the two hour option, however at any time I could have added the extra two hours of class. Most important, however, is the ambiance of the school and the quality of the teaching staff. I have had occasion to have a class with four of the teaching staff. They each had a different style of teaching and all were really good.

I felt comfortable in the class almost immediately. There is both a lot of substance, and also a lot of conversation and laughter. There are some students who attend for a limited number of weeks during a vacation or other time in Barcelona, and there others who take the whole course, There is always a camaraderie among the students, who come from many different countries. I felt free to interrupt and ask questions, and I never left class feeling as though I hadn't understood the lesson.

The program demands some accountability, so that in order to progress from one level to the next, there is a test at the end of the course. However, they treat their students as adults, and the primary goal is that they want you to succeed, and I found that after going through the course and review, to my pleasure and relief, I was able to move on to the next level.

The school offers classes from the A1 level to the C1 level. The cost is competitive and for me, the program is well worth it.

I’ve really enjoyed studying at Ole Barcelona Spanish Language school! Professors Marta and Laura are incredibly didactic and make the classes engaging and effective.

The lessons are always well-structured and fun!

I had a really lovely experience at Olé joining an already in-progress weekday intensive course in Feb 2025. So much so that a few months later I reached out to try and join an online course. Sadly, the times didn’t work out so I had to go with the “big-business-alternative” competitor (Boo!) but this review is my way of saying thanks and that I hope to return one day.

Lastly, to echo and counter what others have written, in my experience the teachers were amazing, fun, friendly, and hilarious and customer service—both at Olé BCN & AIL Madrid—extremely helpful…despite all my way too long questions and correspondences.

Nice and clean classroom, small class size with ten students, native speaking teacher.

Spanish courses are really great, but I had to lower my grade because I had to pay an additional 60€ of registration fee on the first day, which is not written anywhere on the website resulting in 210€ instead of 150€ for the courses I selected. I selected this school because of the apparent cheap prices and because I can’t afford a more expensive one and I felt scammed.

I have been taking classes here for 3 months and it has been such a valuable experience. The teachers are wonderful and the small group learning environment is ideal.

I have tried one week in this school to see if I like it or now. Good things about ole is that the teacher is very professional and pay attention to most the students to ensure we understand. Staffs from front desk also easy going and helpful. The key reason I didn’t continue the school because of their online customer service and we communicated a lot about the schedule and payment via email. I am quite uncomfortable about “if you don’t pay today and we will cancel your seat’ this kinda expression. Also put me in the unsuitable class for changing after is a bit messy.

Olé Barcelona Spanish language school is one of the best schools to learn Spanish , every thing is perfect and if you need anything you can contact ivan he is a cool guy 😎

Great teachers and good learning environment.

Very impressed with Ole Language School on a whole. The classes are well structured and taught in an engaging and interesting way. This is helped by the size of the class never going above 10 students.

Outside of the classroom the school is great at organising extra curricular activities for those interested in meeting other students and exploring different areas of Barcelona.

The staff were also very helpful with assisting with my visa requirements, Valerio in particular was very helpful.

I would highly recommend Ole.

I’ve been teaching and traveling with students for 28 years. After doing extensive research, I studied at Olé Barcelona & AIL Madrid three years ago myself and had a phenomenal experience. The last two years I’ve brought groups of my high school Spanish students to both AIL Madrid and AIL Barcelona to study. We have done homestays in both locations, both years, as well as many of the offered activities in both cities. The entire operation, from top to bottom is excellent. This is not your average school that accepts your reservation, cashes your check, and then forgets about you. AIL/ OLÉ are staffed with genuinely caring and attentive people, who are available at all times, who are checking in regularly, who make any necessary changes, and who truly support you every step of the way. The teachers are creative, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. The instruction is adaptable to your needs and can be tailored to what you hope to get out of your experience. My six-month experience at this language school in Barcelona was absolutely wonderful. The warm and welcoming atmosphere of the school creates an ideal environment for learning. I was at the Olé Barcelona Spanish Language School for a one week intensive course and also took private lessons in order to prepare for the B1 Siele exam. The communication with Olé was easy and very professional. All my teachers were super friendly and very competent. Thanks to them, I have made a huge progress in grammar and writing in a short amount of time. Speaking in Spanish is a crucial part of every class. Especially the private lessons pushed my level and gave me the confidence to be able to reach the B1 level. Besides, I have met and become friends with very nice people from all over the world. I highly recommend the intensive courses and private lessons at Olé and plan to come back for another course next year! Thank you so much to the whole team for the amazing time!

Registering at the school was very easy. I can confirm I was allocated to the right level based on my Spanish when I arrived.

Ivan (the guy working at the reception) has been exceptional with answering all my questions and accommodate all my needs as a student.

My teacher Ana was amazing! It’s been a joy to study with her. Very professional and organised but also her lessons were very entertaining, with a great variety of content (grammar, exercises and speaking).

The school also organises trips during the weekends (with a separate cost) and drinks with teachers and students every two weeks to allow you to practice your Spanish (and they pay for a drink… which is very nice)!

I learned a lot during my time at Ole Barcelona. Overall it was a 5-stars experience and I would definitely recommend this school to everyone who is serious about learning and/or improving their Spanish!

I took a 4-week semi-intensive course at OLE Barcelona Spanish Language school. The teacher, Soraya, was excellent, funny, precise in her explanations. The course was a lot of fun. Strongly recommend.

Very good school to learn Spanish my Teacher Soraya was very helpful. The school organized as well some social events to practice your Spanish with others, by Ivan, that is really nice. 🤗 Special mention to him, it creat a really nice vibe in the school !

Great and friendly staff. Accommodation (apartment) was great, only 20 minutes walk away from school. Lessons of intensive 20 were done mostly in Spanish which fully immersed you in the language and quickly improved your abilities. Teachers and other staff members were super friendly and helpful.

I had the most amazing experience at Olé Barcelona. I studied for five weeks at the school and really found that my skills in Spanish improved tenfold. Attended three months. All of our teachers were terrific, encouraging, a joy to spend time with. I chose the four hours per day, 5X/week option. Two hours of interactive instruction followed by two hours of conversational activities. Extremely well organized in a pleasant environment. Loved getting to know students from all over the planet.

Ole Language School has been a great experience! The school has been responsive, informative and friendly. The teachers are knowledgeable and encouraging. The quality of instruction was top tier. I found the school accommodations to be centrally located, clean and safe. I met lots of students from all over the globe and will definitely be taking courses here again! I love this school, it is a warm and welcoming community with great teachers, staff and students. I began with no prior Spanish language experience, have been studying there for 5-weeks & I’ve learned a lot. My teachers are incredibly engaging, experienced and supportive and due to the smaller class-sizes they can easily adjust to address the needs of each student. Olé school is a fantastic place to learn spanish, no matter what your level of experience. The teachers are very kind and enthusiastic, providing a strong basis to build your skills in an informal yet focused environment. The class rooms are comfortable, with digital whiteboards to really enhance each lesson. I highly recommend the intensive course, which provides lessons from 9am until 1pm, Monday through Friday, leaving you time to study as well as explore this wonderful city and practice your Spanish skills!

I had the pleasure visiting the Olé school for 5 months and counting, both for evening classes and an intensive course during summer. The school is great, the classes are super nice and I learned a lot. I had different teachers during my time here, Ivan and Zaida in evening classes and later Cristina and Raquel in my intensive course. All four are simply amazing and helped me improving my Spanish grammar by a lot as well as gaining more confidence in speaking. On top of that, I met great classmates who I enjoyed doing the classes with. Lastly, Noelle is awesome and helped me anytime with facilitating my schedule and all my requests super smooth. Top school, top people.. can only recommend!!
