The newly renovated language school is located in a historic, three-story building with charming brick walls, antique wooden floors and large windows that flood the space with natural light. The spacious classrooms are equipped with the latest facilities and necessary study materials, including a classroom library. In addition, the rooms are air-conditioned. The teachers are friendly and qualified. The school believes personal attention is important and the small groups of no more than ten students ensure that everyone gets the opportunity to do their best. Between classes you can relax in the cozy space on the second floor, or enjoy the view of the city's beautiful palaces and churches.

In addition to the lessons, Tia Tula organizes fun trips and activities, both inside and outside the city. The lively Plaza Mayor, with nice cafes, bars, museums and cinemas, is less than a two-minute walk from the school.

Wonderful staff, engaging lessons and a lively city atmosphere

"What a wonderful place to improve your Spanish. If you're looking for a relaxed and friendly environment in which to learn, this is the place. The staff are welcoming and helpful and ever willing to assist should special attention be required, whether that be of an academic nature, accommodation advice or perhaps about cultural matters. The city itself is lively, compact and almost overwhelming with its history and stunning architecture, and very easy to navigate. I was only able to spend four weeks here this time, but should the opportunity arise, this is the place I would choose to upgrade my somewhat shabby Spanish to a much higher level over a longer period of time, and I am confident that formal qualifications are achievable here under this tutelage with the appropriate amount of self discipline. Personally, I would have liked to have been pushed a bit harder in terms of, for example, set assignments. However, I chose a short, fairly general course and came away with the basis for improving one of my weakest areas and a useful set of notes for doing so. No review would be complete without mentioning that the classes were fun! A good combination of students and professors where students were encouraged to participate fully. The classes were not only intense but also thoroughly enjoyable places to be. We got to learn not only about the language but also about our professors' and the other students' lives and backgrounds which lent an informal air to the proceedings whilst staying focussed upon the topic. I was aware on many occasions that the lessons had been very well planned, and the timings between didactic teaching and practical work were seamless. Professional, in a word. Well done TíaTula! I really hope that we meet again soon."

Amazing teachers and immersive homestay in Salamanca

"I had an amazing experience at Tía Tula Spanish School in Salamanca! The program was very well-structured. All of the teachers were knowledgeable and explained everything clearly, helping me improve my Spanish in a short time. I had a one-hour conversation class with Daniel, followed by lessons with Carmen and Miriam which made the learning dynamic and engaging. The reception staff- especially Ana and Cati- were incredibly kind and helpful, as well. For full immersion, I chose a homestay, and spending time with my familia española was such a valuable and unforgettable part of the experience. I also met students and made friends from all over the world, which made my stay even more special. Salamanca is a beautiful city, and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring it. I truly wish I could have stayed longer and would love to go back someday. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a well-organized, immersive, and genuinely rewarding Spanish learning experience!"

Wonderful teachers, warm atmosphere, and great progress to B1

"I studied at this language school for about 4.5 months (with a few short vacation breaks), and it was truly a wonderful experience so I even extended my lessons 2 times. When I first arrived, I had no knowledge of the language at all, and during my time here I was able to reach level B1. The teachers explained everything clearly, adapted to my personal learning needs, and even took the time for one-on-one conversations to ask for feedback and make sure I was comfortable with my progress and the lessons in general. I was lucky to have classes with almost all of the teachers, and each of them was excellent. They not only cared about teaching the language but also about the personal well-being of their students. Also I learned a lot about the Spanish culture in every part of the country because the teachers are from a lot of areas. The reception staff were also absolutely wonderful, always friendly, supportive, and ready to help. The class sizes were perfect, usually around 4-6 students, which made learning very effective and allowed us to practice a lot. My classmates were amazing as well – it was always a positive, open, and motivating environment. The textbooks provided were useful, and in addition to the lessons, the school also organized extracurricular activities that were always fun, social, and either free or very affordable. Thanks to this combination of excellent teaching, supportive staff, and a warm atmosphere, I was able to make great progress and really enjoyed every day at the school. I would definitely come back in the future and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn a language in a professional yet friendly environment. See you again, Leyla 💞"

Fantastic teachers, central location and lively student mix

"Tia Tula is a fantastic language school in Salamanca. Centrally located, with caring teachers and staff, you are in a great place to stay for a week, a month or more. There is a diverse mix of students from around the world across many different ages, with organised social activities in the afternoons to allow you to meet people. The teachers do a great job of teaching the critical grammar and vocabulary required to progress your Spanish and possibly continue on to do the more formal DELE exams. The structure of the classes means you can learn from multiple different teachers, which expands your knowledge of Spanish and helps you connect to different teaching styles. I loved my time here and was sad to leave!"
