Glad to start my first Spanish lessons. I took one month and one week of intensive course, for 5 days a week, very effective for me. Nice atmosphere, very flexible schedule and helpful staff. Interesting events. Also good prices, compared to other private language schools. I want to thank my teacher Alma for positive and cheerful way to study language. And the director of the school for being very hospitable. Thanks.

Great school, great teachers/staff that go out of their way to assist in your education. Plenty of activities that further knowledge about the Spanish language and culture. I was nervous at first when I arrived but everyone made me feel comfortable. Overall great time so far, definitely recommend!!

Our secondary school students had a wonderful experience at the school in Alicante. The staff were extremely welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay a success. The school and the whole team were super efficient and friendly and the students were really happy with their host families. There were a couple of minor hiccups but they were sorted out on the first day. Really recommend this school to anyone thinking of doing a Spanish course, whether privately or with school students.

Excellent school with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The small class sizes and supportive environment helped me progress much faster than I would have on my own. Great value for the quality of education provided.

I've recently started taking private classes here with Maria Fernández and she's been amazing. She has shown lots of patience with me, her teaching methods are great and I actually feel like I'm progressing. I initially started with group classes but after having a few classes and few personal issues the school were very understanding and patient. They showed great empathy towards me and helped me figure out it was better with private classes. All the staff there are very friendly and helpful and there is a very relaxed atmosphere in the school. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this school and personally Maria.

I was on a course, four weeks, 20 hours a week (in a group) and 5 hours a week (private). I am very satisfied, the teachers' approach is amazing, the teaching methods are unique. The atmosphere is friendly, cheerful. The students are from all over the world, which is very interesting. I lived with a host family (200 meters from the school), I had everything I needed, the school took care of the entire organization. I felt a bit like a child, because I didn't have to do anything 😂. It was my vacation, combined with fun learning Spanish. I recommend it to everyone 😊.

I just completed two weeks of semi intensive Spanish classes. The teachers are lovely and make the classes interesting and fun. I learned a lot during the lessons and the teachers related the topics to our personal lives so the material was more memorable. The staff are very friendly and kind. They have a pleasant demeanour and warm smiles. Even though I enrolled late, they made arrangements for me to make up the lessons I missed. The atmosphere of the school is very relaxed and coffee, tea and snacks were available during breaks. Thanks for a great two weeks in Alicante!

Highly recommend Estudio Sampere! So helpful with professional handling of information, enrollment procedure before start. As well as being involved in social activities beyond school hours.

Teacher really excellent at involving each student in conversations during classes, explaining everything in a simple manner and thoroughly in both grammar and writing.

Best Spanish school in Alicante! 10/10 recommend — professors are very patient, attentive, and encouraging while the office ladies are always very accommodating! Classes are also flexible depending on your needs, perfect for working professionals.

From how they teach all the way to their customer service, I must say this is a great institution. Very welcoming, helpful, and beyond professional. I was never alone (or bored), my host family was very informed, and the program was super affordable. It's definitely an experience I'll try again.

I studied here last January and had a great time learning spanish while living in a host family. I took the intensive course for four hours a day which included an extra hour of conversation class. Highly recommend. The teachers rotate quite a lot but the only one that I had throughout my four weeks was Mari Carmen and she was really good with everyone, really patient with all our different questions and concerns. Everyone in the class that I met agreed that she was great for us. I would definitely go back to study there again one day.

I had a very fun time with the estudio de sampere, i participated in the teen activities and they were all very fun. The photo that is added is the program that we went through the week that I was here, it was so much fun and very easy to understand. The teaching style at the school was also very good, i felt that the constant active participation was amazing for learning spanish. I also found that the teachers an people running the program were very organized and kind towards the students.

I’m studying in this school for more than one year and I’m satisfied with level of education in here.

Professors are well educated and most of them are trying to make classes with fun and introduce extra activities.

Administration employees of the school are really helpful and are capable to solve most of the issues and are open to receive feedback.

I took a 2-weeks course there. Everything was good, teachers were well educated and patient. The location is good, facilities a bit small for so many students. Nevertheless I will go there again.

You are promised minu-groups before signing the contract, they tell you and give the brochure where it is indicated that the groups are maximum 9people. but there are 15-20 students in reality. There are 25 people in our group now. Imagine how much time you get... It's better to pay a bit more but choose another school.

Disappointed.

The most active part of our group (it's about 7 people), has complained several times already, bit no use.

When my husband and I have finally met the principal face-to-face, after one hour talking she agreed that it's necessary to divide the group. And she did in just 3 days (!). I am so grateful to Belen, thank you for polite conversation and thank you that give us opportunity to learn Spanish. Our teacher Lourdes was also very supportive. Thank you, guys.

And yes, the principal's answer is not very honest, because the most active part of our group (it's about 7 people), has complained several times already, we asked to split the group several times, but all that we get is ignoring and the same answer - in your contract there is no indication of the number of students.

My kids took a week long immersion class which was simply FABULOUS! The school is truly run by caring professionals. Carlos, who responded to my initial email queries, based in Salamanca, was prompt and thorough and connected to me the super Director Belen at the Alicante location.

Belen is a kind and flexible person who told me to see how the first day went before committing for the week - as one of the my kids didn’t have a group signed up for her level. Belen made sure the kids were comfortable, engaged and had fun.

kids also participated in many activities offered by the School like tours of the market, castle and beach time with other students. It was a memorable and positive experience!

HUGE thanks also to the young and energetic teachers Ivan, Elena, … (? Missing a few additional names)..

Our only regret… it was a short session only. We will be back again next year for sure!

I attended Summer of 2014 and 2015. Yes, I loved it so much I returned the following summer. All the teachers are beyond Great! They truly care about their students and go out of their way to teach you in a way that makes sense. Classroom size are small, so you get one-on-one and get a lot more out of it than what my initial thought was. As far as the location, it is great! The beach is beautiful, the town is so lively, and the Food is delicious. I recommend it 1,000,000%

My time at Estudio Sampere is something I will always treasure. I was very impressed with the quality of education; the combination of only speaking Spanish at the school along with working on different components of the language (listening, reading, writing) allowed me to improve my Spanish tremendously in my 4 weeks of studies. I left Estudio Sampere with a strong command of the Spanish language and an increased confidence in my abilities. Something that made this program particularly special was the emphasis on community - the excursions with classmates and teachers gave me a connection to Alicante that I would have struggled to find otherwise. I can't wait to go back!

I had an amazing time during my time at this Spanish language school. I met an amazing group of people who now, over 2 years later, I am still in contact with. I really enjoyed the extra activities that the school organised for us, for example going to the beach daily to do water activities as it was really fun and something I hadn't previously tried. Other fun and interesting extra activities included going on tours around Alicante, visiting other amazing places nearby, travelling on the trains to get there and back and going to restaurants together. I really enjoyed the structure of each day with the extra activities in the morning, then classes in the afternoon. I also liked how they let us leave for lunch and gave us the freedom that they did, but also some time to interact with the other students and explore the beautiful Alicante a little bit as well. The only thing I slightly struggled with was the communication with my host mum and she didn't speak any English and at the time I also had very little Spanish, so that made my experience more difficult.

Estudio Sampere has been providing Spanish language instruction for over 60 years. This particular location is in a wonderful area close to the beach. There are all sorts of activities available and field trips you can take. Classes are taught in Spanish with small groups. You can choose to live with a family while studying there. The staff is always ready to help you learn and while you do so in an international environment. There are students from all over the world. I studied with Estudio Sampere in the summer of 1998 as an undergraduate with very little confidence and returned as the director of a university study abroad group several years later bringing students every summer for 20 years. The administration and teachers have always maintained an absolute commitment to quality instruction and can satisfy any specific need you have for Spanish. Upon completion of your course(s) you will not only have reached your goals, but also have a great understanding of Spain and it's wonderful people and culture. Best Spanish school of Alicante. All the teachers are really great, with different styles and approaches. Belén, the school director is very friendly and professional. I really recommend this school to anyone traveling to Alicante for a short stay as well as for the people living in Alicante (like me)... that’s months I go there every week, my Spanish has improved a lot and so far I’ve no plan to stop...
