About Enforex
Enforex Malaga teaches Spanish from a restored historic building on one of the city's liveliest central streets, five minutes' walk from the beach and next door to the Carmen Thyssen museum. Founded in 1989, the school is accredited by FEDELE and the Instituto Cervantes.
Classes stay small, averaging 8 students and never exceeding 12. The weekly programme pairs structured lessons with flamenco, cooking classes and excursions around Andalusia, so study comes with a lively social calendar.

Your first day at Enforex
New students arrive on a Monday morning, with time before the day starts to sit the placement test if you have not already done one online. Once the test is marked, the school builds your timetable around the result, so you join a class matched to your actual level rather than a guess.
A local counsellor meets you on arrival to help you find your bearings, and this is also your chance to sign up for the week's activities and excursions, from flamenco classes to day trips along the coast.
For the lessons themselves, plan to buy your own course materials once you arrive. The cost is €45 per level, covering the Nueva Prisma books your class will use.

What you do outside class at Enforex
Staff organise excursions and sightseeing trips every week, alongside daily afternoon activities and weekend trips further afield. Several of these, including museum visits, city walking tours, dance classes and film nights, are free to join. The programme leans into the city's Andalusian character, with flamenco and salsa classes, Spanish cooking sessions, garden barbecues and day trips to spots such as Granada, Seville, Tarifa and the Nerja Caves.

What classes are like at Enforex
Classes run as 55-minute lessons within a teaching day that spans 09:00 to 18:30, taught in small groups that average 8 students and never exceed 12. The method is interactive and conversation-led, building speaking confidence alongside listening, reading and writing.How your week is structured depends on the course intensity. Intensive 20 runs four group classes a day, Intensive 25 adds a fifth class plus culture and conversation workshops, and Super Intensive 30 stretches to six classes a day including workshops and semi-private sessions. Part-Time 4 meets for two classes on two days a week. Some timetables run later in the day during busier periods, and your slot is assigned after the placement process based on your level rather than by personal preference.

Social life at Enforex
At Enforex Malaga, no single nationality dominates, so the student community stays genuinely international, with learners mostly in their twenties and a smaller mix of teenagers and more mature students. The gender split is even. The atmosphere is social and lively, with Spanish culture woven into daily life rather than kept to the classroom. Much of the mixing happens outside class, in the patio and terrace, the common lounge and the student kitchen, where conversations tend to carry on well after lessons end. A local counsellor meets new arrivals to help them settle in and sign up for the weekly activity programme, giving you a reason to bump into the same people again. From there, the dance classes, cooking workshops and excursions offer a steady stream of chances to get to know people.

After the school confirms your booking, you pay a 50% down payment within 5 days. The full payment is due 44 days before arrival.

A deposit of € 250 / $ 300 is non-refundable under any circumstances. Cancellations less than 4 weeks before the start date will incur registration fees plus the cost of 2 weeks of the program.
Cancellations up to 4 weeks before the start date: € 500 / $ 600 cancellation fee. Within 4 weeks: the full amount will be charged.
Cancellations within 2 weeks or 'no show': the cost of 4 weeks of the program plus any booked extras will be charged unless a cancellation guarantee has been purchased.
Special conditions apply for cancellations after the invitation letter for a student visa application has been sent.
All refunds are subject to a 9% administrative fee (minimum € 75 / $ 90). For overpaid amounts, a minimum administrative fee of € 35 / $ 40 will be charged.
No refund for the amount paid for the course/accommodation once the course has started.
Changes before the arrival date: € 100 / $ 120 administrative fee. After arrival: € 100 / $ 120.
Changes to start dates within 2 weeks before the arrival date: last-minute fees (2 weeks program cost plus any booked extras).
Vacation/course interruption: maximum of 1 week per 4-week block, with full accommodation costs remaining applicable. Other interruptions: € 100 / $ 120, with full housing payment required.
