What a wonderful experience studying Spanish in Granada as a complete beginner. Stayed for 1 month in total from the start of January which seems to be a quiet enough time in the school. My classes consisted of grammar+theory and then conversation+culture both of which had maximum 5 students over the course of my 4 weeks there.

Very experienced teachers who are also locals (with that beautifully difficult Andalusian accent). They had the knowledge and experience to help me with my many questions. The classes were engaging and always something I enjoyed. There was also an exam at the end of the month.

I chose the option with school supplied accommodation which was probably worth it! The rooms are as you expect for a student flat- small bed etc but overall pretty comfortable and well located. Only thing of note if thinking of booking is the small added fees, €20 if you wish to have towels and bedsheets supplied. However only one set of bedsheets were supplied so you’d need to buy another set anyways for when laundry is being done. If you wish to have a guest over it is prohibited unless you request and then can pay a 30 euro extra night fee. So if you plan on having someone over to visit keep that in mind. All things considered, I would still choose the school supplied accommodation as it’s an easy way to meet other students!

I had a fantastic time studying in Granada and would recommend this school for sure if you’re trying to improve your Spanish and live in a beautiful city.

I spent an amazing 2 weeks studying Spanish at Proyecto Español Granada in October 2025 and feel that I made a huge amount of progress during this time.I had 2 exceptionally good teachers a male and a female who each spent one week teaching grammar and the other leading a conversation group. Our initial conversation class led by the female teacher consisted of 4 chicas who were subsequently named the 'cuatro habladoras ' because we as well as the teacher all enjoyed chatting. The classes are very varied and the teachers make the whole experience very interesting including our going out of the classroom to experience the Spanish culture and producing a Halloween play which we presented to the other teaching groups. Granada is also a most incredible location to visit and explore with it's tapas culture, flamenco dancing and countless fascinating and amazing historic places to visit. I would thoroughly recommend studying Spanish at Proyecto Español Granada. You would come away with so many unforgettable experiences and also would have made huge improvements to your Spanish whatever your age.

It was a good experience to learn spanich in this school. The teachers are very nice and educator. The first day start with a free short guided tour of the neighborhood.
