I’ve just finished 3 weeks at Accord and it was really good. As a 17 year old, I found the course awesome, but there were people of all ages and nationalities who I think really enjoyed it too. The lessons are interesting and varied, the teachers kind and funny and I felt that I improved a lot over a short amount of time. The classes are a good size, big enough it feels like you are able to meet new people, but small enough that you... I’ve just finished 3 weeks at Accord and it was really good. The classes are a good size, big enough it feels like you are able to meet new people, but small enough that you are able to practice speaking a lot and have the teacher help you. As well as this, it’s right next to the Eiffel Tower and lots of wonderful restaurants so an amazing part of Paris to be in. I’d definitely recommend for anyone.

I had the pleasure to attend the Accord French Language School in Paris. I had a wonderful experience. It was very easy to communicate with the reception and after I completed my placement test I was very pleased with the group I was placed in. I found it tailored to my level of French, while still challenging enough that I learned new things every day. The class groups are small, and everyone gets a chance to talk and participate in... I had the pleasure to attend the Accord French Language School in Paris. I had a wonderful experience. It was very easy to communicate with the reception and after I completed my placement test I was very pleased with the group I was placed in. I found it tailored to my level of French, while still challenging enough that I learned new things every day. The class groups are small, and everyone gets a chance to talk and participate in class in French which I found to be very helpful. The teachers are incredible. They are highly motivated, engaged and kind and come up with fun activities to teach you French. If you choose to do afternoon classes you can choose whether you want to focus on grammar or speaking skills which I thought was nice to have this flexibility. The school is also located in a great area- very close to the Eiffel tower, while being on a more quiet street surrounded by many boulangeries and cafes. I would recommend this school to absolutely anyone as the level of teaching is very high and professional. The cherry on top was that the school is very flexible, you can begin your course at the start of any week and you can book everything online in a very straightforward fashion. A 10/10 for me.

I attended this school for a week with my wife. Although I was in a group with people who had already been at the school for several weeks, I somehow managed to understand just enough to follow the lessons and get a good experience out of the stay — even with my limited "Duolingo" listening skills.

The teachers are very nice native French speakers and do their best to adapt to the different abilities of the participants.... I attended this school for a week with my wife. The teachers are very nice native French speakers and do their best to adapt to the different abilities of the participants. The school is close to Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the chairs are quite uncomfortable for people over the age.of 20 and that there were never any towels (or working hand dryers) in the toilets.

I have studied the french language in Accord for the fourth year. I am very happy every time to be there: very interesting effective and actual program, which develops all parts of your language skills; very professional teaches; very helpful, kind and friendly personnel; very comfortabel location in the middle of Paris; very kind supportive co-workers which do your study process comfortabel easy and pleasant. This year I come to... I have studied the french language in Accord for the fourth year. It is everytime a kind of feast for me: to go to Paris, to study the beautiful french language in my lovely Accord school, where I will be met with smiles and joyfulness! I recommend this school for everybody - does not depends on your language level, your background or your age: everybody is more than welcome, everybody will speak french, everybody will have a great pleasure to be there! I have studied different languages in different countries: the dutch, finnish, english, german, spanish, french, swedish languages - and based on my personal experience I can say that Accord school is the best from the best!

I spent a week at Accord at the beginning of December doing a 32 hour intensive course and it was a fab experience. The teachers were motivating and very helpful. It was a great way to be exposed to a lot of spoken French within a friendly and welcoming environment. I spend 5 weeks at the school and started with the complete beginners class. At the end of my stay I was able to achieve the level A2. I liked all of my teachers, especially Laurent. The people in my class changed slightly over the weeks and I meet people from many different countries. However, there were always a majority of German people.
The teachers used very good teaching techniques and I liked their material.

The school also has a vending machine with coffee which I really liked :)
Another thing I liked was how helpful the administration was, they were always there for me and the other students if we needed anything.
The only thing I disliked was that the rooms sometimes did not have windows and the air got really sticky and hot.
Otherwise I am very happy with my stay at Accord and would definitely recommend the school.

I have finished a couple of days ago a 3 weeks course at the Accord School, and I highly recommend it! Both the teachers I had classes with- Reda and Clara- were really good: professional, inventive, smart; and I have reasons to believe that also the other professors are as good! I did a week long intensive course and the experience was excellent. They did a good job placing me at the right level based on my test. The instructor (Reda) was great at explaining concepts and also engaging the class. Even in the span of a week it was quite well thought out how the various concepts were all connected at the end. I have just completed a weeks intense 20 hour course at Accord.
It has exceeded my expectations. The passion , knowledge, patience of Agnes. Deserves a medal .
I was a little apprehensive before the start as I’m in my 50’s and it’s been 34 years since speaking / learning French.
The course moves fast but is robust fun and I came away feeling so pleased with myself . I can highly recommend this lovely school. I have just completed a weeks intense 20 hour course at Accord.

I completed the residential language course with Accord Languages in Paris and it was an incredible experience. The setting was perfect for immersion and the teachers were knowledgeable, passionate and made learning French a delight. The daily classes were well structured and covered a wide range of topics, from grammar to cultural immersion activities. Everyone there were very welcoming and kind, which made the experience that much... I completed the residential language course with Accord Languages in Paris and it was an incredible experience. The setting was perfect for immersion and the teachers were knowledgeable, passionate and made learning French a delight. Overall this is a good school for learning French.
I selected this particular one because they assist you in finding lodging with a French family (which I wanted primarily for the experience of conversing at meals). I am glad I did stay with a family (a single woman actually) for a month because there I had ample opportunity to practice speaking French.
I also enrolled in afternoon "conversation" classes, but they weren't... Overall this is a good school for learning French.
I selected this particular one because they assist you in finding lodging with a French family (which I wanted primarily for the experience of conversing at meals). I am glad I did stay with a family (a single woman actually) for a month because there I had ample opportunity to practice speaking French.
I also enrolled in afternoon "conversation" classes, but they weren't really conversation classes like I have experienced elsewhere, but rather opportunities to learn lists of vocabulary for a particular topic.
I made the most of these courses and have those list of words to review on my own -- but it was really a disguise for having another "traditional" French class. (Though with one teacher, I learned many subtle nuances of French culture. I found that to be valuable since learning a language is also about learning the cultural nuances, including their self-delusional beliefs, beliefs that exist in all cultures.)
Overall the teachers were very well trained, but I must add, the last teacher who I thankfully had for only one class was incredibly arrogant. I heard him say under his breath that we probably didn't understand any of what he was talking about.
I am a person who has had 4 ear surgeries in order to be able to hear -- I never told any of the teachers this because I caught on very quickly that they are not very accommodating or empathetic to anyone who is different -- that I heard this person say this in French meant that he spoke loudly enough for someone like me to hear. Needless to say, hearing these words (and feeling his attitude) was rather disconcerting. As the lesson continued, I recognized how he asked trick questions. It seemed that he was more interested in "catching us" not know rules (or be confused by random rules drawn out of a hat) rather than assist us in improving our conversation skills.
I will continue my studies on my own, whether I will return to this school or not . . . I really don't know. Perhaps it's a French characteristic for French teachers to be arrogant? I don't know; but do know that I didn't experience that at all at the school I attended years ago in Lyon.
I will also seek out a native French speaker who is kind to assist me with pronunciation. Language schools apparently no longer offer language labs where students are able to hear themselves speak (with the use of headphones) while instructors listen giving guidance and instruction. That is how I learned to pronounce German correctly; nothing like that exists for French language learning, as far as I know.
I wish you well with whichever school you may choose.
P.S. I’ve since learned some practical things regarding how the French really speak, and I’ve heard and read their shortening of words in TV shows and movies I’ve watched! Amazing. This is the right school if you want to pass some kind of test but not for really learning how to speak like the French or understand them when they’re speaking. But there may not really be a school like that anywhere since old habits die hard.
One absolute plus about going to a language school like this is the friendships you can make with other students.

Good school. I needed to improve my French and I had a spare week so I booked a 20h intensive course. Amazing location. The booking was easy and the communication with the staff was great. The class and the teacher were good but I wished that it was a little bit more interactive and I believe that if there was a mix of approaches, the class would have been amazing! Good school. I spent three weeks at accord and think it’s fair to say that the overall experience wasn’t bad!

However, there’s room for improvement and I would like to give some constructive criticism:
1. The welcoming experience was rather unpleasant. The agency via which I booked the course stated that I should first register at the school’s office. There, the girl sitting to the right of the door to gave me a bewildered... I spent three weeks at accord and think it’s fair to say that the overall experience wasn’t bad!

However, there’s room for improvement and I would like to give some constructive criticism:
1. The welcoming experience was rather unpleasant. The agency via which I booked the course stated that I should first register at the school’s office. There, the girl sitting to the right of the door to gave me a bewildered look, laughed a me when I said „hi, I’m xyz, I’m new“ and only after a long pause proceeded to help me find my classroom. Until today, I haven’t found out what was supposed to be so funny. All in all, my first impression of the school was a slightly unprofessional one. I later talked to this office member again and my personal overall impression did not improve.
2. Most classrooms don’t have direct daylight (at least 3 don’t have any daylight at all) and I wish that had been advertised on the school’s website at the time. Plus, in summer, the AC was used to sparsely that I almost felt like fainting every now and then. Even when it was turned on after all, the next day, the struggle for ‚AC rights’ began all over again.
3. The lesson quality varied greatly from teacher to teacher. I liked Laurent‘s and Thierry‘s lessons but there was a female teacher who’s teaching style was honestly so discouraging and who left me feeling really low in confidence when it comes to my French skills (whereas it wasn’t the same with my other teachers). As someone, who‘s doing French as a hobby, I wished all of the teachers saw themselves as service providers rather than high school teachers and us students as customers rather than high school students.

Due to personal reasons, I have to cancel my original booking-General French. I payed 500€ for deposit. Request campus for using 500€ deposit in their private class. Accord just keeps mentioning about my visa situation and tells me that they will notify the government. They refusing me to swap courses. This school not care about your difficulty, they just wants to take your money.

What cheek to accuse me of blackmailing this school! I was a 'guest' at this institution last month. Poorly organised classes, no proper class divisions by level and hardly any oral work were the order of the day. In my class (C1) there were people with levels between A1 and B2. When I complained, nothing changed, I was even told very unkindly by the headmaster that I was wrong! However, the other people in my class also agreed with... The rooms were also mostly very dark and in the basement of the building. It is NOT on the second floor as shown on certain Google Maps pictures, but on the ground floor and basement area. There are no real desks in the rooms, just folding tables by the chairs, which makes working very uncomfortable. I will never attend a course at this school again...
