Excellent junior program with intensive options and host family

"My two children took part in a two-week language course with Azurlingua in July/August 2025. My 16-year-old daughter opted for an intensive course and a host family, while my 15-year-old son chose the standard junior course and stayed at the Lycée Les Eucalyptus. During the first week, he also took a diving course in the afternoons. Both of them thoroughly enjoyed their time in Nice. The course was the perfect mix of school and free time. They were free to organise their spare time as they wished. As a result, they often went to the beach, into town and also to neighbouring towns such as Monaco and Cannes. The group in the junior course was very international, which my son really liked. The school focused primarily on speaking, where both made great progress. After one week, my son was even able to move up to level B1/B2, where he was challenged. The language course was a complete success and my daughter will be going back for another two weeks in autumn."

Engaging teachers and central Nice location with campus residence

"Great experience. I registered a 1-week french course for educational leave (Bildungsurlaub). At the beginning there is a level test to ensure which level you should fit in. There are classes at all levels so that the administration can dispo learners to the right class which matches their level of language skills. I attended the intensive class which took place from 8:45-12:00, and 13:00-14:30. I still had a lot of time in the afternoon to discover the beautiful city of Nice and do some excursions in the surroundings. I chose to stay at the campus residence because it is convenient to sleep, eat, study, and train there. The room is clean and spacious. There is a huge well-equipped kitchen at every floor for students to prepare meals. The garden with orange and palm trees and colorful chairs is ideal for a lunch break. The administrative and sanitary staff are hyper friendly and helpful. Everyday they maintain the hygiene and comfort in the class and the whole residence. Regarding the French course, I attended in the class of Professeur Ahmed, who is an engaging and enthusiastic teacher, encouraging and motivating us to speak French at all time, which made me feel highly effective in language acquisition compared to the other school that I learnt. I also heard from my colleagues in other classes that their teacher were also at excellence of teaching. The Azurlingua French School is close to the train station and very central. You can reach everywhere on foot. I would highly recommend this school if you (German employees who wish to do educational leave in southern France) are searching for language school. You can choose to stay at the campus residence or book hotel close by. I would like to express sincere gratitude to my Professeur Admed who somehow inspires me to confidently speak French, and to the staff of the school for a great experience of my journey in Nice. Great atmosphere and friendly animators at Azurlingua camp
