Hispalense is more than just a school.

I spent 6 weeks in Tarifa learning Spanish at Hispalense. Would I recommend the school? Absolutely. Hispalense offer highly professional classes in a familiar atmosphere, which is unique. Moreover Tarifa is a fantastic place for windsurfing.

Best language learning experience I have ever had. Very friendly, flexible staff, professional teachers. Somehow you start speaking Spanish on a daily basis without realizing it. Not to mention the gorgeous beaches 1 minute away by foot. Also the town of Tarifa is a jewel.

I return on an irregular basis over years to always a warm welcome but most importantly very good teachers. I can unreservedly recommend this language school.

This language school is the best I ever had. The last2 years I had private lessons. I have learned a lot. Coming from 0 knowledge I now understand most of (written) spanish. Which is a great win! From now on I will move on with this school with weekly online conversation classes. Private, so we can focus on my needs. I recommend this school to anyone who wants to be able to have conversations in spanish! There is still much to learn for me and I am looking forward to start the online lessons until my next classes in person next year☺️

I had a really good time in the school! Teacher was great, she was so patient and calm, explaining everything very detailed so we all could understand. The school was also very flexible about all the organisational aspects. I can really recommend this school, I will come back there for sure!

Wonderful school with friendly bi lingual teachers! I had a couple of weeks of 20hr per week intensive and loved it.

Hispalense is an excellent language school, and our family will certainly return in future summers! I enrolled my seven-year-old son in Kids Club for two weeks in July, and he also benefited greatly from an additional private lesson (50 minutes) at the end of most days. The teaching quality was superb, and the staff were very warm and helpful. We chose Hispalense for several reasons, including: the school is Cervantes Institute accredited; it has a long-established Kids Club; and its teachers take the children into town almost every day (after classroom lessons) for immersion in the daily life of Tarifa (in contrast, Spanish-language summer camps in cities typically do this only once per week). The Hispalense teachers accompany the children to markets, historical sights and to places where the kids can do activities with local Spanish children; in this way, Hispalense capitalizes on the fact that Tarifa is a friendly, compact and perfectly safe coastal town (beautifully situated at the point where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet). We absolutely loved the town: Tarifa is charming and atmospheric, energized by young people, and full of great restaurants (not just seafood ones) just a short walk from Hispalense. Tarifa feels very manageable with kids, who will love the clean beaches -- one of which is a two-minute walk from Hispalense. Tarifa is a pleasant bus ride from Seville (which has a direct flight to London Gatwick), and is just across the sea from Morocco (the city center of Tangier is directly linked to Tarifa by FRS ferry). The Hispalense staff are more than happy to advise on excursions to Morocco and on the wide variety of activities on offer in Tarifa. My son's two weeks at Hispalense made for a truly wonderful experience, and we can't wait to go back!

I followed a 2 weeks private Spanish DELE exam preparation course. Absolutely learned a lot, various methods of comprehension were applied and the teacher uses highly advanced didactic skills which made learning easy, fun and rewarding. Would definitely recommend going here!

Great school ! I did some Spanish language school in a far away past. In 2019 it was for the first time with my family. Hispalense Tarifa made it a great experience. Not only the staff Mariola & Casper are very helpful & flexible, but we also had great teachers. My teacher Bea is not only a great teachers, but helped me & the other alumni’s around with many tips for living in Tarifa. Veronica, my children’s teacher and my wife’s teacher Maria & later a male teacher (name ?) were also very good & kind. We really can recommend (small) school. And Tarifa is a great place, beatifull beaches, nice town & much more.

An absolutely brilliant experience! Tarifa is a wonderful setting and the instruction was superb. My spanish took off and I obtained a level of fluency that I didn't really expect with only two weeks. I had been studying spanish for years off and on and now realize how much time I had wasted. I should have done this type of school years ago!!
