Language school CLIC Sevilla

This is by far the best Spanish school I have ever studied in! Especially Isabel, the head of studies, who is the most amazing person in charge I have ever met. Thanks to you guys, I can now speak and understand Spanish so much better than before. I really hope I can come back and spend more time here I’ve made so many memories, met wonderful friends, and loved the overall vibe. The school has a great mix of international people, and the teachers are incredibly kind and supportive. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to learn Spanish. Thank you so much for everything!

Such a wonderful school in Sevilla! Cristina was my level A1 teacher and she was so wonderful. She made the classroom feel like a safe space to learn, try, succeed and to make mistakes. I enjoyed my classmates as well and the actual school building is lovely with lots of light and a darling little cafe in the atrium. But, most important were the teachers and staff. They created such a positive and productive environment. Highly recommend!

I spent a week at CLIC in Seville in the first week of December 2025. It was a great time to go, the Christmas lights came on just as I arrived, and the City was in a festive mood. My time at CLIC was great.

I should say something about myself. I am 75, physically very active, and enjoy studying languages - I am at C1 in French but have only just got to B1 in Spanish. I’ve been retired for ten years, but before that I spent my whole life in higher education. I have been deputy Vice Chancellor at two Russel Group universities and I was Vice Chancellor of a modern University for nine years.

I chose CLIC for three reasons. I had read very good reviews on web sites eg Reddit and TrustPilot, they teach teachers how to teach Spanish as a foreign language so they know about how to teach, and they organise weeks for the over-50’s, which I couldn’t attend, but it told me they are used to dealing with over-50’s.

My first encounters with CLIC were with the administration - they came back instantly, and were, for example, able to tell me how many people over 50 would be enrolled in the week I was looking at. I wasn’t then overwhelmed with messages from marketing, though I was kept in the loop. All my encounters with the administration at CLIC both before and after the Course were brilliant - informative, helpful and friendly throughout.

My second impression was formed by the building and its location. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city, which is pretty compact, and with all of the tourist sites within walking distance. The building itself is light and airy and well organised with student facing facilities, the administration, cultural activities organiser, and the all important cafe on the ground floor and teaching on the second and third floors. The cafe was excellent providing hot and cold drinks and light refreshments. There are other cafes in the immediate vicinity.

The student body was pretty mixed. Obviously students in their early twenties predominate, but there were a fair mix of students across all age groups and indeed across all nationalities. Because of this you could rarely lapse into your own language and this for me really added to the immersion experience.

Finally, the teaching. I was on a super-intensive programme which gave me three hours in the morning, with a break followed by two hours in the afternoon. I had the benefit of working with four teachers as I changed course after two days - having been put into a class that was too low for my level. The teaching from all four was brilliant and I made masses of progress throughout the week. I mentioned that I wanted to change course - this was a really easy process and worked well.

I study at the Instituto Cervantes in England and study once a week for three hours, along with working on my own at home. The daily ritual of five hours at CLIC with superb teaching to motivate me, meant that I moved at a really fast pace. I could see the same with students who had only started four weeks before - they had already progressed to a good level of Spanish and were for the most part were really highly motivated. I naturally gravitated to students who were from their early 30’s and upwards and felt completely at ease in the mixed age and mixed nationality group atmosphere. The cultural programme helped with this as it provided the opportunity to meet students of all levels.

I really enjoyed and benefited from my time at CLIC and, of course, In Sevilla - it’s a beautiful city and it was a great time to visit.

Very professional school, excellent teachers, and fun Spanish-medium activities almost every day after class. It's located very centrally, in a beautiful and safe neighbourhood. The cafeteria has cheap and tasty options, and kind and patient staff. My only regret is not booking more time at the school!

Clic is an incredible safe learning environment- the teachers are excellent and I know my Spanish has improved greatly. The accommodation is exceptional and the staff could not be more accommodating. This experience has been incredible and I know I will be so sad when it I over as I feel I have found a true community here.

Clic has been a great experience. It feels like you are part of a family. They make sure the class you are in is the most appropriate and I have been able to learn in a more flexible way. Break times are fun with Carmen behind the counter providing good food, coffee and conversation. The catering staff are all very friendly and helpful.

I am a teacher with over 40 years experience in international education. English is my native language and I can also speak German and French. As I recently retired, I have finally got time to learn Spanish. The teachers at CLIC were very good, they understood the importance of varying the activities and responding to the needs of the individual students in the class. The atmosphere in the classroom was excellent, everybody wanted to learn as much as possible and the teachers responded to this. Outside the classroom, CLIC organised a lot of cultural activities for us each afternoon and in the evenings we enjoyed going to bars and restaurants to enjoy wine and tapas, so the social side of things was also excellent. This was my second 2-week Spanish course and I will be coming back for more

Ola Marina. I was looking at a class in Malaga, since I have to be in Istanbul on June 17 for a wedding. Just thinking about it. Not ready to commit. Carol and I traveled for five more weeks after our week in Seville, and our class was the best part of the trip. We still talk about it, and people who know us are so tired of hearing about it. If ever you have an American prospective student who wants to know about CLIC, feel free to have them call me.

It’s a perfect school (the one in Sevilla as well as the one in Cadiz). The used methods are very practical and lessons are a mix of grammar and (fun) exercises. Furthermore the school has a family feel. You feel at home very easily. The school has already been chosen twice as best Spanish language school of the year and again is nominated this year. What better praise can you get. I can highly recommend the school for anyone who wants to learn Spanish in a nice setting, whether that is Sevilla or Cadiz.

Wow, what an amazing experience of a school. Not only does CLIC have fabulous teachers and staff, but the people you meet there will be unmatched. Totally unforgettable experience for me, and I wish to come again!

I had a fantastic intensive two week Spanish course. The teachers were brilliant and engaging. The evening events and activities are also worth doing.

5 stars, because this school manages the most important thing in education perfectly; the human factor.

During my 2 week intensive course in Spanish, I've had the pleasure of meeting and being taught by 4 excellent teachers. I've received personal feedback and exercises suited exactly for my needs.

Morning classes focused more on grammatical exercises and tenses, with i.e. one past tense being taught during about 1 week. Afternoon classes are taught by a different teacher and are less focused on specific grammatical forms and more on the speaking and communication aspects. These classes had the most synergistic effect if they focused on or included exactly what you are learning in the morning classes. My first week, this wasn't the case - but I gave feedback, and for the second week, they changed my class. The second week was perfect!

Things the school could improve on:

- punctuality (even though they're doing good on that front for Andalusian standards)

- to my liking, sometimes lessons get sidetracked by cultural or other topics. While this is super interesting, it should be organized more interactively. (Though other people will say too much grammar and exercises are uninteresting, that's not the case for me)

It was such a pleasure to spend 2 weeks of education there. I found the school very professional, organized, structured. Teachers are always helpful and smiling. Admin team is always helpful. We have had in the morning classes more grammar and vocab building and afternoon classes more conversation and practice. so it was a perfect combination to start learning a language for me. I will come again

I studied in Clic for a month this summer, everything about this experience from the day I arrived to the day I left was curated perfectly and ran smoothly.

All the teachers were incredible friendly and helpful (Adrien Moreno for me), the cultural trips was a great way to experience more of Spain (Prof Javier). I think this experience is more than worth the money and I could not recommend it more highly to anyone else.

Do this while you can!

Six months ago, I started learning Spanish from scratch. Now, I’ve reached a really good level. I’m especially happy that I chose this school. Everyone here has a strong sense of responsibility — they all do their jobs in the best way possible, and we’re creating incredible memories together. Loved my time at CLIC Sevilla.

Had a few different teachers and enjoyed all of their classes. Some teachers have been at CLIC for 20 years, so the school must be doing something right.

The culture activities were also excellent. Always well organised and interesting, and different ones every week. Football games, cooking classes, museum tours, weekend excursions, just to name a few. It was a great way to meet new friends, practise Spanish outside of class, and learn about the rich history of the region.

I love CLIC! It has exceeded all my expectations in education, location, campus, professors, staff, accommodations, kindness, excursions, business practices, etc. I plan on returning yearly to further my education.

Really good teachers. I didn't expect so many older people there. But there were all age ranges. From 20 to 70. Actually also a lot in their 40s or 50s. The older ones stayed in apartments of the school, the younger ones at a hostel. That was also very nice, cause we went out together and could share taxis. Also the cultural program is much fun. Great experience!!

CLIC is a fantastic place to be a learner. I went to CLIC both for a spanish course in 2018, and most recently in 2025 to complete my CELTA (ESL) certificate. Every professor is incredibly knowledgable and invested in your success. The amenities are fantastic, and you won’t want to leave. I’ll definitely be back in the future to continue my language learning. Do yourself a favor and go with CLIC.

Great school & great teachers in the great city of Sevilla! Improved my Spanish a lot - can highly recommend! I wouldn't recommend the student dormitories if you're sensitive to noise though. And I'd suggest bringing a tablet, because then you can get the workbook online and save yourself 30€.

I spent 2 months learning intensive Spanish while here in 2015, and it was one of the best language learning experiences of my life. The teachers are incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, and give you a good challenge. I can't speak highly enough of this language school and the methods they employ.
They helped me to develop a lifelong love of language and especially Spanish.
I recommend this place to anyone who goes to study in Sevilla and wants to learn Spanish.

I spent 2 weeks in Sevilla and overall had a wonderful time. The morning classes were great fun and I learnt a lot with a good crowd. You should go.

It’s a big, modern school with Open Students in every age where you can meet a lot of friends.

Even if there are many students at school, the school tries to respond to individual needs and problems, this includes the classes but also the accommodation. I personally saw how the individual employees invest a lot of time so that everyone feels comfortable.

I am also very happy with the lessons. You learned a lot, but I would like to speak a little more in the morning courses as well because it’s very separated.

I recommend the school for everyone, you have a great time there!!

My wife and I spent a week in the 50+ program at CLIC in Oct 2024. It was such a wonderful experience! We met terrific people from all over the world. After a brief assessment on the first morning, we were placed in classes appropriate to our levels. The instructors were excellent and the class sizes were small and manageable - giving lots of opportunities for practice. Thank you to everyone at CLIC for providing such great memories!

I had a great time at CLIC Sevilla studying Spanish for two weeks. The rating if my initial level was very good and I was placed in the right class from the beginning. All teachers were very sympatic and motivated. I can only recommend studying at CLIC!

I recently had the pleasure of attending AI lessons at CLIC Seville, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The entire experience was outstanding from start to finish.

The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about artificial intelligence. They explained complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand and provided numerous real-world examples to illustrate the material. Their enthusiasm made each lesson engaging and enjoyable.

The curriculum is well-structured and comprehensive, covering a wide range of topics within AI. I felt challenged but supported throughout the course, with plenty of opportunities for hands-on practice and real-time feedback from the instructors.

The facilities at CLIC Seville are top-notch, providing a comfortable and conducive learning environment. The small class sizes ensured personalized attention, allowing me to ask questions and receive detailed explanations whenever needed.

Overall, my experience with AI lessons at CLIC Seville was extremely positive. I left the course feeling confident in my understanding of AI concepts and eager to apply what I had learned. If you're interested in AI, CLIC Seville is the perfect place to deepen your knowledge and skills.

Incredible school - the teachers I had were caring and taught the class in an excellent manner.

The class size is smaller than many other language schools which lead me to learn much quicker at this school than others.

The cultural events are very interesting and cheap, the organizer of the events is very knowledgeable and clearly has fun organizing the events.

The residence I stayed in was amazing and as were the people.

Highly recommend and wished I had stayed longer!

I studied with CLIC Sevilla for 5 weeks in November-December 2023. The admin staff is professional and the booking process was smooth. I was initially placed into a B2.2 class that went through the Aula Plus 6 textbook. About 3.5 weeks in, I was moved up to a C1 class that used the Vitamina C1 textbook. I had opted for the 30-hour per week intensive program (all group classes), and felt that my Spanish improved quite a lot. The teachers were very professional and highly trained. I also attended some extra-curricular excursions and activities hosted by the school, which were great opportunities to meet new people outside of class.

For accommodation, I opted for a homestay. During my first week I stayed in an apartment with a family of 5. While they were kind, they did not interact with me and were not very responsive when I attempted to converse with them. I had chosen (and paid for) the homestay option so that I could converse with native speakers outside of school as well, so I decided to speak with admin staff to get my accommodation changed. Along with my request, I mentioned that the shower flooded easily and limited users to showers of less than ~3 minutes (this was not really a concern for me, but I'd imagine it could be for other guests, so I thought it would be worth mentioning). While the admin staff did honor my request, I was told during the process (in response to my complaint) that the school tries to help less fortunate families in Sevilla via the homestay program. While I applaud efforts as such to help the less fortunate, the school should do a better job at auditing and vetting accommodation facilities to ensure that said efforts do not come at the expense of the students, as it is first and foremost a school, not a charity. I was moved to a different family where there were other students and greatly enjoyed my experience there in the remaining 4 weeks.

I followed the 50+ program and as expected was in the A1 group. This is really a serious language learning program and beginners will find themselves completely immersed in the language which can sometimes be frustrating. But if you stick it out it really helps to push you...

My classmates were really great as was the teacher who was always willing to answer any question. And the cultural program was exceptionally good.

Over 50’s cultural course excellent so went back and did it again - also excellent! Stayed in school accommodation both times, excellent too!

I joined CLIC in September 2023 to take three weeks of Spanish classes.

My level of Spanish was A2/B1 and my class was made of 9 persons.

I was very lucky to have Alberto as main teacher.

Alberto is a very competent, friendly and easy going person.

His classes were very effective and I also had a lot of fun during each of them.

Alberto was not only teaching grammar, but the Spanish and Andaluz cultures as well.

I strongly recommend CLIC.

I loved this school. All the teachers and staff are amazing. I had a wonderful time during my 2 weeks Spanish Immersion program in Seville. I made friends from many different parts of the world. I can’t wait to go back to Clic.

What a great place! Private and group classes and cultural events for people 8 to 80! Beautiful space with an interior courtyard, a small cafe, and even a rooftop terrace. Really a great way to immerse yourself, or your kids, into Spanish language and culture

I stayed in Clic Sevilla for 8 weeks and had the most wonderful time there. They give their best to put you in a class which fits your level and if this isn’t the case there‘s no problem in change it. The cultural program is well organised and offers a lot of variety and there is something for everyone for a fair prize. A big recommendation, would go back immediately if I could. The fabulous atmosphere at CLIC is immediately palpable when one enters on the very first day. The amazing cultural programme is well advertised and enticing. The teachers are wonderful and the atmosphere in the classes is supportive and creative. The positive culture of support and care for the students allows for a really positive experience of language learning for students of all ages. I hope to return in the near future. The best language school in Spain! Dedicated teachers, excellent materials, a lovely Andalusian building, a tasty and cheap coffee shop, and - best of all, perhaps - a varied and thought-provoking cultural programme. Thank you to EVERYONE, including the cleaners, the office staff and the maintenance people. You all did a great job.

I had a great week at CLIC, Sevilla. The classes were excellent, we had great teachers who encouraged us to speak Spanish. Atmosphere in group was relaxed, we had lots of fun and the time jus flew. I have improved my Spanish and I will continue with online classes. I definitely recommend CLIC Escuela.

I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Clic in Sevilla.

I completed 3 months / 12 weeks and learned enough Spanish to keep a conversation with anyone (as long as they're willing to slow it down!). Even for the grammar that I didn't have time to learn, I at least know what I need to continue teaching myself.

The school itself is wonderful, and being in Sevilla, makes it almost impossible to have a bad experience. The cultural programs are frequent, well planned, and excellent (fairly priced too, imo). Javier (su guía turístico/tour guide) is the man!

All the teachers at Clic are invested in students learning. While I enjoyed some teaching styles more than others, I noticed how each style assisted different types of students. I would always suggest the second class (intensivo) if you can as those are purely conversational.

Overall, I loved it, and had I not a life to get back to, I would have stayed longer. My greatest suggestion to anyone serious about learning Spanish at Clic: careful with any large groups of students as English tends to be the most common/comfortable language. I myself was a part of them and will say that an experience without the students at Clic is incomplete; BUT, if you are serious about picking up Spanish, it is difficult to stick to Spanish in large groups who are looking to have fun in Alameda (you'll know what I mean :)
