At Language school Escuela de Idiomas Nerja you don't just learn Spanish; you live it. Located in the heart of the pleasant village of Nerja, you can enjoy the warmth and hospitality, which makes you feel immediately at home to start learning Spanish. The traditional Andalusian school building houses 16 spacious, bright classrooms, all equipped with modern facilities. And outside you will find a beautiful and cozy garden, where you can enjoy the sun during breaks. Moreover, it is sometimes used for outdoor lessons.
The school was founded in 1980 and therefore has more than forty years of experience. The teachers are highly qualified, enthusiastic and committed to ensuring that everyone feels at home and makes rapid progress with the Spanish language.
In addition to the courses, the school offers a wide range of cultural activities and excursions. These include wine tastings, tapas tours, kayaking, salsa or flamenco lessons, paella cooking and much more. After the lessons you can enjoy the beautiful view from the Balcón de Europa, you can go snorkeling at Playa de Burriana or you can simply enjoy 'la playa' in a few minutes.

An engaging 50+ program in Nerja with great teachers and activities
"It was a lovely two weeks of Spanish language learning in the Club 50+ program at Escuela de Idioma in Nerja. I stayed in a large studio apartment which was lovely and comfortable. The instructor was enthusiastic, funny, and effective. The two weeks of classes served as an effective and important review and practice for me. The planned excursions, workshops, and programs were all well-run and fun opportunities for learning and community development. The city of Nerja is charming where tourist areas are easily avoidable. I did two spectacular hikes in the mountains behind the city and enjoyed great running along the shore. Loved the restaurants and culture."
