I spent an amazing time with my husband studying Spanish at CILE. Everything was very well organized and the staff was really helpful. The classes were dynamic and we did a huge progres in Spanish. I can highly recommend the school.
Accommodation was very nice in the city centre, close to school and near to Malaguetta beach. We would like to join again next year. I spent an amazing time with my husband studying Spanish at CILE. I spent last month at the Academia CILE with my wife. We had a really great time
and fun. I recently started studying Spanish language and now I can communicate with people in Spanish. The accommodation which we had was very clean and very close to the school. This schools offers much more than what I can expected.
I had the most wonderful experience to learn Spanish here. Teachers are professional and helpful. I have studied here for two months and when I spoke with local people they are all amazed how I can communicate with them.
School provides so much flexibility to my course selection based on my level and my need. Also their price is so reasonable compare to other big... This schools offers much more than what I can expected.

School provides so much flexibility to my course selection based on my level and my need. Also their price is so reasonable compare to other big institution where you have less chance to practice conversation in the class and you have to much more.

One small bonus from this school is I get to taste the best Spanish coffee just down stairs by paying just 1 Euro by being a student of CILE. :)

Overall, I highly recommend this school for all levels of students if you would like to improve your Spanish in short time and experience the beauty of Malaga! I will come back for sure!

I studied at Academia CILE in Malaga for 3 months in total between January and May 2018. I started at level A1 and was at level B1 when I left after 3 months of study. I will say that my 3 months of study made me able to use Spanish whenever I am in Spain now. However, learning Spanish is not a sprint, but more like a marathon. I returned for 1 week this year to see if I had maintained what I had learned and maybe if I had improved... I studied at Academia CILE in Malaga for 3 months in total between January and May 2018. I was not disappointed this time either, I had a great week and went out with some of the teachers for some beers, a great way of learning Spanish.

The reason for selecting CILE to learn Spanish was primarily the price and location. The school is located next to the cathedral and close to the beach, Malagueta. I chose the Super Intensive course II which gives you 20 group lessons and 10 private lessons per week (a lesson is 45 minutes). I can absolutely recommend you to take this course because having private lessons is really effective for you learning. It's up to you how you want to use your private lessons, so I changed my private lessons as I progressed in my learning and my needs changed.

The teachers, other staff and the owner of the school are all really nice. I went out with other students and several of the teachers many times during my stay at the school. I will recommend you to try to socialize with the local people and maybe use less time on homework if you have to prioritize. I used some of my private lessons to do homework, because then I could explain to my teacher how I was resonating and get feedback on what was correct or not.

I had different teachers during my stay at CILE, which I think is a good thing. Each teacher is different than the others, but all the teachers at CILE are great teachers and nice persons.

I can absolutely recommend CILE as your school for learning spanish. Just remember to have a positive attitude, make sure you have fun while learning spanish and don't be afraid of practicing it in the local community of Malaga.

I will keep going back to Malaga and CILE in the future too!

I was at CILE for 2 months and it was amazing. The teachers and staff were super helpful, friendly and are always there to answer any questions. I really enjoyed having the classes in the morning and early afternoon, so by 1:30pm we were finished and we still had the whole afternoon to explore Málaga. One of the best parts of the school is it´s location, its situated in the center of Málaga and it´s right next to the Cathedral and... I was at CILE for 2 months and it was amazing. The teachers and staff were super helpful, friendly and are always there to answer any questions. I really enjoyed having the classes in the morning and early afternoon, so by 1:30pm we were finished and we still had the whole afternoon to explore Málaga. One of the best parts of the school is it´s location, its situated in the center of Málaga and it´s right next to the Cathedral and Alcazaba. What I loved most was the small size of classes, we were a max of 8 students at one time, sometimes even less and we became a little family and went everywhere together. We had to practice spanish a lot because we were all from different countries and our only common language was spanish even if we all started at the basic level, already after 1 week of being at the school and being with the people, you “grasp” the language. I would love to come back to this school again. Highly recommend it!

Great language school. I’ve studied Spanish here 20 years ago, it was a pleasant surprise finding the school during a trip to Malaga last weekend. I own so much to this school! in only 3 weeks summer course i became fluent in Spanish, and i speak it fluently since! i have then moved to Barcelona for an MBA, travel in latin america and made and maintained many latin american and spanish friends. Thanks Cile!! Great language school. I’ve studied Spanish here 20 years ago, it was a pleasant surprise finding the school during a trip to Malaga last weekend. Experienced and very nice teachers, small groups and lessons only in Spanish. Very pleasant, family atmosphere at school. CILE is in the centre of Malaga, right next to the cathedral, so you can enjoy the city life during the break and afer the course. The Malagueta beach is very close to the school, about 10-15 min walking. Good place to learn Spanish in Malaga! Experienced and very nice teachers, small groups and lessons only in Spanish. Very pleasant, family atmosphere at school. CILE is in the centre of Malaga, right next to the cathedral, so you can enjoy the city life during the break and afer the course. Worst experience - first staying with host families arranged by Cile was a nightmare: 1st family was chain smoking in the flat, Matthias (Cile’s director) said he didn’t know but I found out weeks later while talking to a new student that she had been placed in the same smoking “host family”. Meantime the school relocated me to a “family” which was just one woman that could only be described as mean and unwelcoming. To top this... Worst experience - first staying with host families arranged by Cile was a nightmare: 1st family was chain smoking in the flat, Matthias (Cile’s director) said he didn’t know but I found out weeks later while talking to a new student that she had been placed in the same smoking “host family”. Meantime the school relocated me to a “family” which was just one woman that could only be described as mean and unwelcoming. To top this already bad experience with Cile, Matthias was supposed to refund me an overpayment (don’t pay everything ahead of time is the lesson I learnt here) but he found a way not to, pretty much on the argument that I was “already getting a good deal and was lucky because rents in Malaga were so high” (or so he said) so he would not refund the proper amount (he refunded me 23€ instead of 185€ based on his dodgy calculations which I proved wrong but nonetheless he refused to refund the proper amount… Dishonest.)The classes were near empty (winter) so that was good (though not so great socially), grammar class were good but instead of the conversation classes I’d recommend you go to language exchange events (you can find them in meet up or fb, they’re free and prob just as useful). Finally, the school is very disorganised, everything (teachers, groups, times) kept changing at the last minute and students were the last to know… Quite an experience, but not a good one for me.

The teachers were really amazing! Special thanks to Tamara and Carolina :).
They gave really good tips about Malaga and the culture, and were fun to be in the lesson with, improved the classes a lot.
The lesson material itself could focus more on practical examples in my opinion. For example how to order food in a restaurant instead of talking about food in general. (and depending on your course, pay attention your... The teachers were really amazing! Special thanks to Tamara and Carolina :).
They gave really good tips about Malaga and the culture, and were fun to be in the lesson with, improved the classes a lot.
The lesson material itself could focus more on practical examples in my opinion. For example how to order food in a restaurant instead of talking about food in general. (and depending on your course, pay attention your lesson could start at 8:30!)
For the rest it was perfect.
