About the school

You can find Euroace in the centre of Valencia, just a few minutes’ walk from 'Jardin del Turia', a green park that winds through the centre of Valencia. This location means that you are surrounded by some of the city’s most famous cultural and historical places. At Euroace, they believe it's important to teach every student in tailor-made lessons, so every student learns as much as possible about the Spanish language and culture. Each Euroace teacher holds a teachers diploma in various subjects -some come from the tourism sector, sustainability studies or have trained as a gym teacher, this gives the lessons a lot of diversity, beyond flat language and grammar lessons.

Valencia

Valencia (/vəˈlɛnsiə/; Spanish: [baˈlenθja]), officially València (Valencian: [vaˈlensia]),[2] on the east coast of Spain, is the capital of the autonomous community of Valencia and the third-largest city in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona, with around 800,000 inhabitants in the administrative centre. Its urban area extends beyond the administrative city limits with a population of around 1.5–1.6 million people.[1] Valencia is Spain's third largest metropolitan area, with a population ranging from 1.7 to 2.5 million depending on how the metropolitan area is defined. The Port of Valencia is the 5th busiest container port in Europe and the busiest container port on the Mediterranean Sea. The city is ranked at Gamma+ in the Globalization and World Cities Research Network.[3] Valencia is integrated into an industrial area on the Costa del Azahar (Orange Blossom Coast).

I did a 8 week volunteering in Valencia with Euroace. In the mornings I worked in a bilingual nursery school, in the afternoons I tooked spanish lessons. All the guys working at Euroace are warm, welcoming people, helpful and have always a smile for you. The staff always trys to respnd t your needs, so it was no problem to raise my weekly classes during the stay. The teachers take turns, so you can experience different types of classes, teaching methods and pronunciacion. During these times of Covid 19 all safety measures were respected (taking temperature, wearing masks, keeping distance...) In normal times there are also a lot of excursions and freetime activities you can join. I definetly can recommend spanish lessons at Euroace and will continue taking classes online.

I spent there more than 5 weeks and I can say they are doing a great job! Classes were not too big (2-8 students), teachers were super friendly and interactive and curriculum was never boring!
The teaching was not following one specific book of exercise, it was rather based on speaking and only supported by some gramma materials. So the learning was very natural and not constrained by a stirct agenda.
Also it is very easy to make friends there so it enhances your learning a lot! Also, from my personal research - they have the best price deals in Valencia!
Enjoy!

This experience will change your life. The location is a perfect vacation spot without having too many tourists. You will definitely improve your Spanish if that is your goal. You are able to customize the program to fit your needs, which is ultimately my favorite things about it. I chose to volunteer on a farm while I was here and it was so much fun. It was definitely challenging, but fun.

Really affordable internship compared to others that I've seen. Frendly and helpful staff. Central location, great coworkers and interesting tasks.
