About the school

In the vibrant city centre of Valencia, located in a historic 1920s building, is the Ele Aleph language school. Almost all the sights that Valencia has to offer are within walking distance of this school. Mercat Central for example, a large central market full of stalls with fresh food, as well as the old city gates, are only a short walk away. With many restaurants and shops on your doorstep, the school is in the perfect city location. Unlike most other language schools, the school is run by the owners, who are very passionate about their students’ learning. Couple that with the fact that the school is rather small - about 25 students per week - and this creates a cosy, familiar atmosphere. In addition, all teachers are professionally trained, so that all lessons are guaranteed to be of the highest quality.

Valencia

Valencia (/vəˈlɛnsiə/; Spanish: [baˈlenθja]), officially València (Valencian: [vaˈlensia]),[2] on the east coast of Spain, is the capital of the autonomous community of Valencia and the third-largest city in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona, with around 800,000 inhabitants in the administrative centre. Its urban area extends beyond the administrative city limits with a population of around 1.5–1.6 million people.[1] Valencia is Spain's third largest metropolitan area, with a population ranging from 1.7 to 2.5 million depending on how the metropolitan area is defined. The Port of Valencia is the 5th busiest container port in Europe and the busiest container port on the Mediterranean Sea. The city is ranked at Gamma+ in the Globalization and World Cities Research Network.[3] Valencia is integrated into an industrial area on the Costa del Azahar (Orange Blossom Coast).

The spanish course I followed for a week was good. The teacher, Marie-José was very friendly, patient and organized interactive, challanging and fun excercises. I can recommend this school and especially Marie José as a teacher.
