Als totale beginner, die maar 4 dagen (i.v.m. pasen) les neemt, is het heel lastig dat er alleen spaans gesproken wordt. Wil je zoveel mogelijk uit die paar dagen halen is het goed om in Nederland eerst een basis cursus te doen. Mijn vrouw had al kennis van de basis en haar is de cursus erg goed bevallen. Zij zat met 8 cursisten in de groep die allemaal al een aantal weken bezig waren en was op het juiste niveau 'ingestroomd'. Als je meerdere weken naar een talenschool gaat is Linguaschools prima. Je krijgt goed en afwisselend les.

40 jaar geleden 2 jaar Spaanse les gehad in Nederland. Na een schriftelijke test per computer en een mondelinge ´test´ in Barcelona werd ik in de juiste groep geplaatst. Ik heb erg veel geleerd en er werd op een afwisselende manier lesgegeven. Na de lessen werden er leuke activiteiten georganiseerd. Blij dat ik voor Linguaschool gekozen heb.

I studied at Linguaschools Barcelona for 10 weeks and finished just before Christmas 2020. The year of the pandemic.

Firstly, the building is beautiful, there's a terrace at the front and a roof terrace too for those after class cervezas / nibbles with your international classmates.

The teachers are wonderful and from a mixture of places, which is a great advantage because you get to know the different regional accents.

I enrolled onto the Intensive 20 course which was from either 9.00 - 13.00 or 9.30 - 13.30. Perfect times as you still have the rest of your day to do whatever you like.

Classes consisted of grammar, conversation, games, audio and the occasional sing song which was always a lot of fun.

The teachers are friendly and fun, the environment is welcoming and the location is perfect too. There really is nothing bad to say about this school.

Throughout the ever changing restrictions of the pandemic, we were all kept well informed and felt safe. After class activities were not possible for most of my time there but alternatives were provided.

I really loved my time at Linguaschools and I am looking forward to returning in the coming months.

It's a nice school in a great location with good teachers. They also have computers which you can use on the break, before and after classes. If there's any problem they solve it together with you. I highly recommend this school if you want to learn Spanish.

Great language school with very good courses and motivated teachers. The atmosphere in the school is very friendly and the class groups are quite small, which allows for effective learning with much interaction. Course materials (included in the course fee) are also very useful and professional.

The reason why I don't give 5 stars is that the quality of the courses depends a lot on the teachers you get. I did around 6 weeks of courses (Intensive, Semi-Intensive and Conversation, Level A2 and B1) with 7 different teachers in total. The level of skill and motivation was differing quite a lot among them, although the average teacher was very motivated and did a really good job. Due to the structure of the courses you will also usually have classes with at least 2 different teachers per week.

In conclusion, even though there is still room for improvements I can truly recommend the school - the value for money of the courses is great and you will meet a lot of nice people. I am looking forward to my next visit!

I found Linguaschools Barcelona trough Google and after reading good reviews decided to apply for Spanish classes. Now I can say that it was a very good choice. I took the course Intensive 20 per week and for me it was very good solution as I had also some free time for exploring Barcelona and time for homework. The group of students were very small (6 people, but later 8 people) different ages and different nationalities. It was very interesting by using Spanish language to get to know each other better. The teachers are very interested in the progress of everyone at the class and explain everything in very detail. Different methods are used, also some games. I am not fan of the games at all but those games were interesting and not painful at all  I shall say that we were moving forward fast, what is very good, and after two weeks I was able to make longer sentences during presentation within the game. The school is located in a very nice area. It has it`s own building with the roof top terrace and small garden. At school there are also computers which students can use for their studies. The school also organises activities after classes, for example, we went to watch the movie at the seaside. So we were also able to meet students from other groups.
The atmosphere at Linguaschools Barcelona has motivated me to continue to study Spanish language and I am definitely planning to return to Linguaschools Barcelona next year.
