In the heart of the modern Eixample district, the Kingsbrook Idiomas language school is located on the lively Travessara de Gracia street. When you step out the door you will find facilities such as a gym, supermarket, restaurants and a huge variety of shops. The school is ideally situated, a ten minute bus ride to the city centre or twenty minutes to the beach. The school’s interior has the feel of a cosy living room, with pictures hanging on the wall and cosy lamps and plants throughout the building. There is a lunch and coffee lounge where you can relax with your fellow students, two roof terraces where you can soak up the sunshine between classes. All teachers at Kingsbrook speak Spanish as their mother tongue and are university trained, guaranteeing a high quality of education.

This is a fantastic language school! Clean, comfortable, great facilities, fantastic instruction, great administration and assistance!!!
I was in Barcelona for 2 months. I interviewed 6 different spanish schools near the Gracia neighborhood as this was a last minute decision. This school really took the time to talk to me and give me a tour. The vibe of the school from the outside looks like nothing but inside it feels... This is a fantastic language school! This school really took the time to talk to me and give me a tour. The vibe of the school from the outside looks like nothing but inside it feels fantastic. I did the full intensive for 3 or 4 weeks. I ended up opting out of the conversation classes (the shorter extra afternoon class). It was very good for the first week and the teacher was excellent but there were too many differing levels in the later weeks that it didn't feel worth my time as there was complete beginners in the course.
I do believe this was not common and there may have been some issues that is not typical to the school.
My main teacher Maite was fantastic! Truly wonderful teacher. If you work hard she really goes the extra mile to help.
She breaks down information quite effectively and is great at matching pace/level to the class.
Highly recommended this school. The price more than matches the quality and quantity of the classes.

Finnally, I am a master in Spanish now cause I am styding a master in Spanish now. About the school, it is pretty friendly, we sometimes had student party together with food and drink provided by the school. It... this is the best language school in Barcelona.

Kingsbrook feels more like a family than a school, everybody is really close to you, respecting and taking care of each other. I really had fun and surely i recommend you to study here. I have been twice here, once on 2017 and once now on 2021, and the only thing that changed is the building, the rest will be always perfect, i am sure about it. Thank you kingsbrook.

A very well-organized school. Classes at good pace, additional out-of-class activities offered. Students friendly, teachers really focus on teaching. School qualifies for student visas. Administration staff helpful. Muchos gracias!
