To say this is an excellent language school is an understatement. The central location in one of Spain’s most beautiful and historic cities, the quality of the language classes, and the incredible excursions to places like Segovia cannot be beat. But what really makes Estudio... To say this is an excellent language school is an understatement. The central location in one of Spain’s most beautiful and historic cities, the quality of the language classes, and the incredible excursions to places like Segovia cannot be beat. But what really makes Estudio Sampere Salamanca special is the people who run it. They care about their students and each other and it shows. I am an American college professor who had such a great experience one summer that I returned with my teen daughter another year, then a group of university students the next (and now I plan to go back with my teen son). I witnessed things you will not find at other language schools - such as the director personally comforting a student before an exam, an evening of ballet classes with an administrator’s friends and family, and lunch out with the directors who have become dear colleagues and friends. They will go out of their way to make sure your experience is special. If you want a meaningful Spanish immersion experience in a safe, culturally significant location, look no further than Estudio Sampere - Salamanca. Highly recommend the Junior program, classes for college students, Spanish for teachers or those who use it in the workplace, and classes for the young at heart.

As a teacher myself, I was particularly impressed with the teachers pedagogy and their friendly, positive approach to learning! The education I received was authentic and it pushed me out of my... The education I received was authentic and it pushed me out of my comfort zone with Spanish, and as a result I learned so much! Also, the teachers are so incredibly supportive. It doesn't matter how many mistakes you make (I made a lot), the teachers will continue to encourage you. Learning a new language is a process and Estudio Sampere embrace the process.

Also, Salamanca is a great city to learn Spanish. It is an authentic immersive experience. I would also highly recommend staying with a local family. This school arranges homestay and it is so worthwhile for your progression with the language.

I highly recommend this school and all the wonderful staff.
