The teacher we had was super nice and overall, the classes were always pretty fun :)

The only thing that could be improved is the length of the breaks - I personally found it a bit too short and making it a bit longer would surely help the students concentration :)

The school is very good. The teachers are really nice and I leaned A1 level in one week. I recommend it.

I really enjoyed my week of classes with MaestroMío. I was in a small class with lessons divided into grammar and conversation practice. The classes were really interactive and it really helped being able to practice speaking so much. I stayed with a host family which I really enjoyed and which also gave me more opportunities to practice. The host family was also able to cater to dietary requirements and cook gluten free food for me. I would definitely recommend MaestroMío!

There was so much rain in Malaga (EXCEPTIONAL) but everyone at the school was so nice!!!! We had a great time meeting the teachers and exploring the city !!!

We had an excellent experience with the MaestroMió Language School during our week in Málaga. The language classes were highly professional, and our students enjoyed their lessons. The school also provided fantastic guides for the walking tour, museum visit, and excursion to Seville. These guides were attentive and ensured that the students understood as much as possible, skillfully adapting to their language levels. The entire team at the language school was always friendly, helpful, and well-organized. Whenever we needed assistance, they were there to support us. It was truly a pleasure to collaborate with them, as everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

The staff is really helpful and friendly. I would say the price is worth it given the small class size. It's a really intimate experience given each student has more time to talk and practice.

Highly highly recommend!!! Excellent learning program in beautiful Málaga! Ideal for all levels, from new speakers to those looking to secure proficiency at higher levels. Instructors very patient, personable, fun, engaging. Pilar was so enthusiastic and encouraging! And Andres - my one-on-one coach - i cannot say enough positive things, incredibly good teacher, knows how to adapt learning for the individual, endless patience, extremely knowledgeable about methods of teaching spanish to non-native speakers. At the end of just three weeks I noticed a significant improvement in my spanish grammar understanding and in my conversational skills (thank you Maestro Mío!!).

I especially enjoyed the adult group classes with friendly and interested students from all ages and many different countries around the world, we were all able to learn about new cultures while simultaneously improving our spanish conversation skills. Really well designed instructional workbooks - created specifically for each level of learning (A1-A2, B1, etc). School field trips, from local museums and restaurants to excursions to Cordoba, a huge bonus and not to be missed! Cannot recommend Maestro Mio enough and I absolutely plan to return soon to learn more!

Ana and marina is my teacher currently and this combination is the best ever.

I’m so lucky to meet such a good classmates and teachers. Ana is literally the best for grammar teaching. And Marina is the best and so patient for our communication class. Both are super amazing and I feel I progressed a lot in this class ever I wish it never changes 🥺💕

My experience here was incredibile. Even though our program was a bit confusing and messy i've met a a lot of people that helped us a lot. First of all, Chiara. She is a student from Italy, just like us and she helped us a lot with her kindness and polite behavior. But how can we forget about Julio? With his patience and respectful manner he showed us some of the best places here in Malaga and surely i will not forget them ever again. Last but not least, we've bene so lucky to meet the best teacher and friend that you could ever imagine and that managed to transform even the worst days in funny moments and useful lessons: Mateo. This man is the perfect example of someone who loves his job and does it with passion. This man made us have a lot of fun and always respected our needs and difficulties. Thank you all for the wonderful experience. I will miss you

It was unusual having four different teachers in five weeks. However, I enjoyed the teachings of Jose and the last gal (I don’t remember her name). If either one of them is teaching a class in September, I would definitely sign up.

I attended MaestroMio Language school for a 2 week class at level B1 and definitely made progress in the Spanish language. The school is good with excellent teachers. The classes were quite varied and the atmosphere was relaxed. Julia, the receptionist was particularly helpful in all matters. The school is in the center of Málaga. Multiple historical places of interest, museums, restaurants, cafes, shopping oppurtunities and the port are within walking distance. The beaches are easily reached via the excellent and low cost bus system. The school can also arrange a stay with a local host family. I stayed with super host Diana who was truly and actively interested in helping me learn Spanish!  All in all, a fantastic experience.

I had two great weeks and learnd a lot (4 hrs group and one hour individual). The teachers were not only extremely nice but also very good supporting my efforts learning Spanish. Was as well in a very nice group with cool students.

I had one spanish course for a week and I enjoyed it a lot. The teachers are very good and they make learning a new language something fun to do. The course helped me to get some basic spanish knowledge and understand better how the language works. Thank you!

MaestroMío school was incredible! The teachers made the experience so enjoyable and the people in the class were all lovely. i have made friends for life and i hope to come back soon!

It’s a really nice school if you spend some days in Malaga. The city trip with Mateo was amazing and I also liked the classes with Lucía and Jose

I really enjoyed my time in Maestro Mio!The teachers are amazing, the classes are well organized and I learned a lot! The school is located in the city centre, very close to main attractions of Malaga such as el Mercado Central, la Catedral and famous tapas bars and cafes. I recommend it to everyone who wants to study Spanish in Malaga ;)

This was my second year attending the school and I was really happy to be back! Perfect location in the centre of Málaga. Friendly reception staff and they request feedback on how things are going. I was in a small class so our grammar and conversation classes were tailored to our requirements as intermediate /high intermediate learners. The positives for me of this school is the experience of the teachers, and the opportunity to practice using the grammar in conversation during the grammer classes. It didn't feel like a treadmill of learning grammar for 2 hours which can sometimes happen. We also talked about the culture and history of Spain and Málaga which enhanced our learning and understanding, and helped me better enjoy my time in Málaga. Thank you everyone at the school and a massive thank you to Lorenzo and Pablo. See you next year!!!

I’ve organised a school trip with MaestroMio, they were very accomodation in advance and while there the pupils had fun in their classes and our ‘monitor’ Mateo was the best! He made all outings very interesting as he is a walking encyclopaedia, he has so much historical knowledge and a perfect English. Thank you all very much for such a smooth and enjoyable trip!

I took one week of Spanish classes to start my learning journey. It was an excellent experience. The teachers are amazing! Friendly and fun and they make the time pass very quickly so that you almost forget you are working hard learning a new language. The program is very well organized and makes perfect sense. It is exactly what I needed. I will definitely continue my learning here. Pedro and Novelia are the best teachers.👌

I absolutely love this school. The classes are very conversational which keeps everything interesting. All the teachers are brilliant too. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn or improve their Spanish.

This was my fifth time at the school and the first at the new location. I was there before COVID in 2019 for the first time at the A1 level and also during the late stages of the pandemic. This time in Sept-Oct 2023 I attended the school for two weeks at the B1.2 level. This was perhaps the best experience along with the first time in 2019. I was very pleased to get Prof Lorenzo again for a week this time - he was there the first time I attended the school. He is fantastic and in addition to the rigor with which he teaches his classes he has an excellent knowledge of Spain and Andulucia. I also had three new teachers and the school has done a great job of recruiting young motivated and committed teachers. There were a few older students like me which was heartening to see but the age difference in the classes otherwise did not make difference. It was a really goood experience experience
