We did a beginners class in Spanish with Carmen as our teacher. It was an amazing experience, with lots of fun and we learned a lot. Carmen is a lovely and funny teacher with much patience. She created an amazing learning environment for the whole group. Thanks a lot, Carmen!

I have just completed 20 hours of General Spanish over the last week and it was incredible.
You complete a test before you arrive to determine what classes you will attend. For me it worked out perfectly, the classes were a good blend of grammar and vocab that I knew versus new stuff. Some of the classes were more challenging than others, particularly when there was a new topic to me and a lot of new vocab. But the teachers are great at reading the room. Class sizes are small too which is a big help.
The staff at the school are all super helpful too. There is an activity arranged every evening which is great to get to know the city, its culture, fellow students and also the language.
The school is great and Valencia is an amazing city. I hope that I get to return to both one day.

Hi, my name is Lisa and I am from the city of New York. I am fortunate that I was invited to spend two weeks at Hispana this month and it is been an extraordinary experience experience. The teachers are very well prepared, very accommodating and really worked very very hard to 100% incorporate immersion learning. As a foreign language teacher, this is something I really focus on and I have picked up some some techniques. I’m really hoping to look forward to using in my classes. In addition to all of this, there were accommodation services are excellent. I was placed in a home situation that is ideal for me. I was a bit hesitant as I am a mature student, and I have actually hosted foreign students, but I strongly would suggest living with a family for anyone truly want to acquire language as quickly as possible.

Hispania is the best place in Valencia to study Spanish, I have flexibility and all the teachers are lovely and engaging! The school has the highest standards with the EAQUALS and Instituto Cervantes accreditation, I highly recommend it!

Very good Spanish school. I enjoyed my stay thanks to their accommodation service and the host family I stayed with. The premises are very modern and attractive. Very professional teachers and staff. I highly recommend Hispania, Escuela de Español :)

I recently attended a Spanish language school and I have to say, it was very mice experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I also have to mention fantastic professors Maria G (top!!!), Lucas, Mario, Isa, Pablo, etc.. Perfect professionals!
Their classes were well-structured and engaging, with a balance of grammar, vocabulary, and conversational practice. The teachers were native Spanish speakers and were highly qualified and experienced in teaching the language. They were patient, understanding, and always willing to answer any questions I had.
One of the things that impressed me the most about this language school was the diversity of students. I met people from all over the world (Canada, Algeria, Brasil, Netherlands, Russia, China, Iran, etc), each with their own unique backgrounds and reasons for learning Spanish. This not only made the classes more interesting but also allowed for a cultural exchange that enriched my learning experience.
Aside from the classes, the school also offered a variety of cultural activities and excursions. These were not only a fun way to practice our Spanish skills, but also gave us a deeper understanding of the Spanish culture. You can find a lot of opportunities to participate in extra activities (Yincana, city tours, games etc..) of Hispania
My experience at Hispania (Spanish language school) was amazing. I not only improved my Spanish skills, but I also made new friends and learned about different cultures. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking to learn Spanish in a fun and immersive environment.
Gracias por todo!

I have been an occasional returning student here at Hispania for a few years. Really enjoyed my recent holiday week here in Valencia and studied 12 hours at A2 level.. had 4 different teachers and really found the classes useful, challenging, and enjoyable in trying to improve my basic day to day Español!
Special thanks to Alessia and Raquel on reception who were so kind, warm and communicative with me and my particular study requests and questions. Hope to return again someday soon.
Saludos y muchissimas gracias:)

Good school to choose for learning the language. Good staff and I had overall a good experience.
The school only lacks a good library currently, they have one but it's a hidden dungeon and one cannot borrow books from there.

I have been studying at Hispania for over 7 months now. and I highly recommend them.
I have tried 3 different Spanish schools, and this one has definitely been the best. Teachers are great, study is very effective, and classes are friendly and fun.
One thing I like best is their flexibility, which is way better than all other schools I have encountered. As long as you give 2 days notice you can cancel any class, and those hours are left for future classes instead. This also means that you don't pay for public holidays (as is the case with other schools). Take this into account when you compare price.
This means you can register for long term classes, get the benefit of reduced rates, and still have the flexibility to cancel classes if you want to take a week or a day off for holiday or the many procedural appointments that any foreigner inevitably has.
Life in Spain is so much better when you can speak the language, and this school is the best option I have found.

A few things that upset me about this school:
1. They give a test, half of the tasks are on topics that I have never taken. How should I pass the test? We‘ve been repeating perfecto and imperfecto for a month, and have never studied 2 topic from this test
2. At the reception they promised me that the teacher will adjust lessons for me that I had not studied, but in reality I simply skip lessons, because the rest group studies 4 hours a day, and I study 2 hours. The teacher does not adjust anything for me.
3. They constantly change teachers.
4. The group is constantly divided and distributed into different others. For what? For not having a chance to make friends?
5. Lots of mistakes in printed tasks. Who even was able to do so many mistakes? Is this a too big problem to be solved?
Now I feel disappointed because I lost my classmates, now they are in different groups, I lost a teacher who was the best for me, and I am constantly marking time because for a whole month we have been repeating the same things, but at the same time I was missing something important.

Loved my experience here. The school team and staff care about you in all aspects - not just the classroom. The kind lady at the cafe reassured me and helped me order in spanish, when I was nervous. The receptionist allowed me to print off a document, and my teacher was so patient and kind. His name was Jose Garcia and he never made me feel dumb, and always encouraged us with a positive attitude. I was nervous to begin with but the teachers here will never make you feel bad. I highly reccommend this place - as it feels like a nice community of support, not just a school!

I feel like I've made a lot of improvement in just two weeks. I highly suggest the school, particularly Pablo's lessons. I was at ease and didn't worry about saying something incorrect. Classes are really fascinating and enjoyable, and the time flew by. I hope to return here next year☺️

I spent seven weeks at Hispania during July/August 2023 (20 hrs/week) and had the best time! I highly recommend this school if you wanna learn Spanish in Valencia ☀️
The school itself is located in a modernized beautiful townhouse not far from the center of Valencia. The classrooms are modern and bright with air conditioning. The school has a cozy cafeteria and even a rooftop terrace where you can relax during your breaks or study with your classmates.
The lessons have all been very interactive and interesting with relevant material and content. I had most of my classes with my teacher Noelia R. who did an amazing job - classes with her were always super fun, helpful and interactive. She was incredibly patient towards every single question asked and always found ways to explain things differently. I also spent some classes with other teachers and had a great time with every single one of them - the team at Hispania really consists of super friendly and professional people.
I truly enjoyed Hispania’s flexibility. My classes always took place in the afternoon, but I could easily switch things around for days where I would rather come in the morning. I also took some days off for traveling and could easily reschedule these classes to a later date.
Lastly the international flair at the school is incredible. I was the only German in my class and did not only learn Spanish but learnt loads of things about my classmates’ home-countries which I really enjoyed.
Muchísimas gracias Hispania for this 5 ⭐️ experience.

The super star, Angel Núñez Larrey , helps me a lot with his professionalism, with his special humor , you never get bored in class.

I did the General Spanish course from 8 till 19 may 2023 at Hispania in Valencia. My teachers María and Almudea were very friendly. The classes were very good. I learned a lot and I have level B1. I had very nice class mates and the staff of the school is very friendly. I would like to come back in 2025. Saludos, Marco

I have been going here for a few years and I love it! The teachers are all awesome, they make the class very fun and dynamic; they incorporate important concepts in the language, but you're not bored, like when learning grammar normally. Everyone is very friendly and bonus- right next to beautiful Viveros Park. You can also meet people of all nationalities.

The school is nice and is at central location. The two teachers I have are competent. The school is organized allowing you to schedule / reschedule classes online. It’s very convenient. I agreed with other reviewers that that it would be nice to have a school book for reference (hence deducting one star). It would be easier for me and better set me up for continued learning in the future.

I just completed two weeks of classes at Hispania to prepare for a DELE Exam. When I searched for schools online, I reviewed a number of options in Valencia, and settled on Hispania. I had trouble finding detailed reviews, so I am writing one now for others. I either reviewed well or got lucky. This is a fantastic school. I have worked in education for 25+ years as a teacher and head of school. I only have good things to say about Hispania.
The facility is modern, clean, and comfortable. There are many classes over a few floors and multiple buildings; all the classrooms are outfitted with interactive whiteboard panels and their teachers know how to use the equipment. All of the facilities from the welcome area to the bathrooms to the cafeteria area and the outdoor spaces are well organized and clean.
I took a two hour private class focused on the exam with Ángel. He did exactly what I needed him to do with me for the preparation. He tailored the material to my needs, and we altered the content as we moved along so that I could be as ready as possible for the exam. He gave me plenty of homework to keep me focused and working on the skills I needed to develop.
I also had a two hour group class with Marta. Her classes were dynamic and interactive. We had between 4-6 students in the class depending on the day. Her methodology and lesson organization were clear and focused on CEFR levels. I also had the chance to sit in on a class with María. Her class was equally as robust and interactive.
As I walked through the spaces, there were many active and engaged classes taking place with other teachers. What I experienced directly appeared to be taking place in every classroom. It is evident from my experience that the teachers care about their students' progress and work hard to be effective and engaging.
I highly recommend taking classes at Hispania.

My course: 4 weeks, 10 hours/week, A2/B1 level
Reception: the staff at the reception is very helpful, communicative and nice.
Classes: classes start on time. Teachers are patient, full of positive energy and make students actively participate in lessons. There is a friendly atmosphere during the classes. It should be noted that much attention is paid primarily to speaking and the lessons are conducted entirely in Spanish ("direct method of teaching". If you cannot understand something, it is possible to explain some part of the material in English).
Building: the school itself is a neat, clean building with modern air-conditioned classrooms and interactive boards. There is a cinema and a cafe on the school grounds.
More: it is possible to take part in extracurricular activities (some are free, some require a small fee of 5-10 €),which are a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends and are fun ways to learn the language.
To sum up: the stay in Hispania was a nice experience, after only 40 hours of classes, I noticeably improved my language skills. I definitely recommend this school and I look forward to coming back soon. ♥
