I would like to thank all the teachers, especially Mr. Javi, for a successful stay in Malaga. The lessons are great; the focus is on actually speaking and interacting with Spanish native speakers, not on sitting in a classroom constantly taking notes. There's a lot of walking and sightseeing. I also had a nice family. Before arriving, Spanish sounded unclear to me, but now I felt like I understood everything perfectly during my stay. The trips were interesting and I had a lot of free time. The school is also well located next to the beach. Thank you❤️

Thank you very much welcoming me at your AIL Málaga language school during Erasmus+ job shadowing! I was very happy to attend the A1 intensive course of Spanish and observe also A2, B1,2 classes. Wish I could have continued with the intensive course, but unfortunately the Erasmus+ time ran out. Special thanks to all the teachers whose classes I could attend and especially to Gabriel for assisting me during the Erasmus+ stay in Málaga. Wishing you a great new school year!

I had a great time at AIL Malaga! I was able to improve my Spanish in the 2 months I was there and the classes were engaging, so thank you to all the teachers for keeping it interesting and thank you Gabriel for making all of this happen.

Two time student here! I moved to Málaga on a student visa and, luckily for me, I chose to go to AIL out of all the other Cervantes certified schools here. I more or less had a continuous two years with AIL (if you don´t count the gap between the end of my first year classes and the renewal of my visa to start the next set of classes) and I´m happy to have stayed studying with them. This school will always have a special place in my heart because of all the friends and connections I had and still have with those whom have also studied or worked there.
Life for me during these last two years were had it´s share of challenges and changes that I could not always control. Through all of it, I was happy to have classes as my day structure and focus. And I learned so much so quickly. I believe that I have had every teacher as my teacher at some point during my two years there, which made seeing each of them at the school comfortable. Especially when you start getting good at speaking Spanish and over time can have proper, out-of-class conversations during breaks, or where ever.
Overall my experience was fantastic. I, having moved by myself, struggled at times with loneliness and connecting with new people. So for me, it was very important that I got to know more of the staff over my time being at the school. Sometimes you would change teachers, and my classmates would come and go, but the person most consistent in my life while attending was Gabriel.
He may just seem like a receptionist when you first walk in, but let me tell you, he is the backbone of the entire school. His administration work is phenomenal--how can I tell, you ask? If the ship sails that´s because all the background work is being done properly, the communication is fluid, and the needs are met. On top of all of that, he is incredibly personable and willing to help with whatever he can. Gabriel has seen me at my best and my worst. Whatever was happening, he would check in and listen--TRULY listen--and leave you feeling like things would be A-ok. Many of us come to AIL with dreams of continuing to study in university or working and making a life in Spain. This means so many hoops to jump through, and it is overwhelming. Gabriel, having been doing this work for years now, understands this struggle and makes sure we keep our heads high. I can speak for all the students by saying we appreciate all he has done for us. I hope that this institution recognizes his value and treats him very well because without him this place would not function as it does.

I can only recommend AIL school. It was my first choice of school in Malaga because I got an apartment near it, and they didn't disappoint.
First of all the books are great structured, text, grammar and vocabulary, with exercises and everything is done really smoothly from A1 to A2 (from my experience). The team are all amazing people, professionals who will motivate you to learn Spanish, let's start with the teachers,
I want to give my best to Andrea, with whom I learned most during my time in the school. I want to give my best to Ivan, Carmen, Marta, and last but not least Marian. All the teachers thanks to whom I learned so much and you all made the experience of learning Spanish a memorable and unforgettable experience, which I'm going to keep forever and use as a skill everyday.
I want to give my best to Gabriel and Rosario which are the first two people who you gonna meet when you enter the school, which are taking care of all the student and so much more.
The whole team of AIL school is 5+ stars

Big thanks to Gabriel (reception), and the teachers Marina and Jairo who turned my time at that school into a wonderful experience. The C1 class had a high level, so it suited my needs perfectly. Although I would have wished that the school would be located more in the center of the city. Nevertheless, I highly recommend that school.

Just attended for 2 weeks for a second time. Excellent A2 teacher this year (Andrea) who structured her lessons very effectively with a good mix of grammar, conversation and practical exercises which really helped improve my learning. All the administration was great, with special thanks to Gabriel.

Very professional school with friendly and helpful staff. Flexible to your needs. My son had 1 on 1 private lessons and he really enjoyed them. Good teachers who were always punctual.

I took a semi intensive course for four weeks in February. My professor was Marina Fernández. I was in A2 level group and it couldn’t be better. Marina only spoke Spanish with us, she made sure we understand everything! The classes were very different, we played games, communicated with each other, had grammar exercises, made presentations. I really progressed a lot very fast and now continuing to study at AIL online at level B2.
Looking forward to making it to C1-C2 and hoping to try to study at AIL Madrid as well

My husband and I spent 8 weeks studying Spanish in Málaga. We began in Level A1 because we knew very, very little Spanish. We finished A1 and are going back for A2 next year. We really enjoyed the classes and learned so much. The teachers were very patient and explained things well. The school was nice and tidy. The rooms seemed small at times, depending on class size. The staff was very good to move classes to bigger rooms when they could though. Because we had not had much Spanish the classes could seem overwhelming on some days but then after studying on our own we would understand the material much better. As I review for my return trip I realize how much I learned in this intensive course. I can understand written and spoken Spanish so much better than when I started. We are eager to keep building our Spanish speaking abilities.

I spent four weeks at AIL Málaga and greatly improved in my ability to speak Spanish! Gabriel, who managed the school, was totally focused on meeting the needs of students. He greeted students by name as they entered and was always friendly. He provided information about how to get bus and metro passes, as well as directions to various places. He was available to meet whatever needs we had as students.
The rooms were painted in bright colors, which added zest to the experience. In addition, the instructors truly enjoyed teaching students. They were personable and highly skilled in teaching Spanish. They created an enjoyable learning atmosphere, and the students got to know each other. They used a variety of methods for teaching, including games, Kahoot, role plays, conversations, etc. We had to write on a topic each week, and we had to do an oral presentation on a topic each week. We gained valuable feedback on how to improve our written and spoken Spanish.
In addition, students had the option to either take 3 or 5 days of tennis lessons each week, 3 days of Spanish cooking lessons, or 3 days of flamenco dancing lessons. That was definitely an added bonus! I took tennis lessons with an amazing pro!
I highly recommend AIL Málaga!

Highly recommend this language school. Recently returned from a 4 day course with a group of year 10,11 and 12 students. The lessons were engaging and the students were fully immersed in the language and culture from their lessons in the mornings, sight seeing tours in the afternoons and stays in Spanish speaking host families.
Thank you particularly to Teresa , Javier and Maria who made sure that the children got the most out of their stay as possible. All students really increased in confidence, especially speaking skills as a result of this study visit.

Hello Teresa and Luca,
I express my sincere gratitude for the warm reception and exceptional support we received during our visit to your school in Malaga. Our stay was exciting, thanks to the extraordinary program, and the valuable support of your team.
Your dedication to the education and care of our students is evident in every aspect of our visit. We want to especially highlight the effort that you, along with all the teaching staff, put into it.
The program you prepared was very well designed, adapted to the knowledge level of our students, and at the same time, allowed for a deep immersion in the Spanish culture and language. There is no doubt that our students have fallen in love with Spain, and their enthusiasm and joy during their stay are a clear indication of the quality of your program.
The students are eager to meet again! We are planning another visit to your school in spring 2024.
Best regards and hugs,
Nora with the students and mothers

I’ve just completed 3 weeks on the A1 syllabus with the beautiful team at AIL Malaga. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done (and I’ve done quite a lot 😊)
I was welcomed in like family, made to feel very comfortable and relaxed with the classes; my tutors Desiree and Marie Carmen (and Marina) are total gifts and the support from Gabriel, Rosario, Diego and all the others truly appreciated.
I have come away with a deeper understanding of the language, culture and music and hope to do more in the future. There are online and in-person options that keep us connected to the learning.
I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a fun, enjoyable and immersive experience learning Spanish. Thank you friends, un gran abrazo 🫶🏼

I attended AIL Málaga for three weeks and would definitely recommend the school. I feel my Spanish improved a lot thanks to the help of my teachers. All of the staff and teachers were so kind and helpful, particularly my teachers Desiree and Mari Carmen and Gabriel from the student care team was very helpful in solving any issues or answering any queries. I am already looking forward to planning my next trip back!!!

I had a fantastic experience of 4 weeks in AIL Málaga. I wish I planned for 8 weeks as I still have a long way to go.
The administrative staff (Gabriel & Rosario) were Super helpful and friendly. In addition, they organized several weekends and after class outings.
The teachers were interesting and innovative in their methods of teaching especially Raquel & Ivan who were very patient and focused on my difficulties in expressing myself in Spanish. Last but not least, Natasha whose detailed approach was super refined and helpful. Thanks to Team Ail Málaga now I have the courage to initiate a conversation in Spanish. Looking forward to come back again for a longer period and certainly in the meantime, participating in an intensive class on line.

I attended the program for students over 50. It was a fantastic experience. The classes were excellent and really helped improve my language skills. My professors MaryCarmen and Desiree were both wonderful. Gabriel was so gracious in organizing our evening experiences and troubleshooting any problems. And our guide Javier was a knowledgeable and very patient tour guide. I highly recommend this experience.

I had an excellent experience at the Spanish school. Gabriel and Rosario organized the entire experience for me, including accommodation and language instruction. I fully enjoyed it and felt that everything was very well prepared and customized to meet my needs. It was a phenomenal experience that I recommend to everyone!

I spent 1 week in August at AIL Malaga on an intensive language course as a beginner. I can warmly recommend to everyone who is interested in studying Spanish at different levels of knowledge. The approach and way of teaching the teachers is highly professional, they are kind and helpful to the students. I personally had classes with teachers: Ana, Rachel and Carmen. They are absolutely awesome. They made the most of every minute. Gabriel, who is part of the Student Care Team, was always willing to meet my requests and his approach was very professional (he greeted us with a smile every day). Nice, friendly and professional approach of the whole team of the AIL Malaga school. Muchas gracias chicos! Te veo el próximo año.

Teachers what would you expect - very passionate friendly.
I have seen this school transformed. At first it was old building with old wifi, no water, little windows. It was hard to learn if you only had your tablet.
Now it is completely different - brand new building and you have water on site. Especially comfortable that now they send me all materials on email and I can instantly use it for studies.
Thank you!
Whoever runs this school have done hard work, this is for sure!

I did two weeks of classes with AIL Malaga, as well as, the homestay option and it was sincerely amazing. The school, it’s faculty, the family, and the peers were all very welcoming & kind regardless of what level of Spanish was known.
I gained a noticeable amount of confidence in my Spanish through the two weeks of having consistent safe spaces to practice.
Gracias por todo AIL Málaga!

I'm happy with the Spanish language learning at AIL Malaga. I wanted an intensive 1-2-1 one week course which covered most of the grammar but also introduced me to Spanish quickly and my teacher Marta was able to do just that.
Spanish is my third Latin language and my eight in total so I was very pleased with her being able to take the lead and teach the material with the same dynamic I needed. She was curious about my interests, and had the unique sensibility to provide additional resources that helped me communicate them in Spanish. Marta's encouragement helped me overcome the shyness around speaking a new language always feeling supported and after a week I now send texts, have small conversations with people and read articles with ease. Jokes and laughter made this intense experience a lighter one. I'll definitely come back for another 1-2-1 week with her when I get the chance.
Anna and Gabriel's warm professionalism made me feel welcome and at ease instantly. From finding the right tutor for my request, through sorting out invoices, providing insights about the school or simply joking around they were a delight.
The school is 2 minutes walking distance away from the peaceful Huelin beach area which has many bars and restaurants to have snacks in. It's noise isolated and lit with natural daylight but not directly exposed to sun rays which creates a very comfortable learning environment. I'd strongly recommend it if you're looking to learn Spanish!

Despite only spending one week in AIL Malaga I found the experience very effective and feel my Spanish made significant progress in a short time. All the staff and teachers are great and are always happy to help! Would love to come back and would recommend anyone to enrol.

Although I spent only one week in AIL Málaga, my experience is rewarding.
From the start I felt I'm already welcomed. Anna is so wonderful in responding to my queries regarding the course
and accommodation in
a timely and concise manner. Likewise, Gabriel was instrumental in clarifying any doubts while I was in the school itself.
From the Day 1 in the classroom, Desiree; my young Spanish teacher, spared no efforts to make the class interactive while delivering the contents in easy and fun way.
.
Thanks you all for your great . support .
