Language school K2 Internacional

The school is a beautifully maintained old house in a small plaza quite close to the sea. It is fully accredited and that became immediately apparent with the high standard of teaching in what were very enjoyable classes with much discussion in Spanish about contemporary topics. I spent two very useful and enjoyable weeks at this excellent language school.

"I visited the school for two weeks in November. With short notice, I could book the course, and they helped me to get a very nice and affordable apartment. The school is beautifully located on a small square near the ocean in a beautiful Andalucian building. At the square, we always had a coffee in a cozy cafe during breaks. One of the owners met me at the train station and showed me the apartment, which really proves how family-friendly it feels.

The classes were a great size of 4-6 people with a mixed age of people. The teacher Mariluz was superb - experienced, inclusive, fun and friendly - yet with authority. She mixed many different teaching styles and elements focusing on listening and speaking, adjusting to the students' needs and preferences. It made learning very fun and will keep me motivated studying going forward.

Socially, you meet different kinds of people from different places, and we got a strong connection, which made the time in Cádiz very joyful. Would definitely go back to improve my Spanish. I totally recommend it!"

I cannot speak too highly of the kindness, efficiency and attention of the K2 language school in helping me with my father's course reservation. They are wonderful people.

During April May 2025 I attended a 4 week- course of Spanish at K2internacional in Cadiz. The level of the course A2 was definitely “over my head”, in spite of the fact that I had already had Spanish lessons the year before.

Nevertheless, I had a wonderful time! My teacher Maria was the best, and management Angeles and Jolanda were warm, welcoming and helpful. I loved the (shared) appartement I got through K2, and in my small class I felt comfortable.

Cadiz is a wonderful place to stay! Big enough for everything Spain has to offer, and still smal enough to overview in a couple of days.

I will continue my lessons in the Netherlands from next week. And one never knows what life will bring, but I strongly consider re- visiting Cadiz and K2internacional next spring.

K2 Spanish school is a small school located in the beautiful city centre of Cádiz. The people working at the school are super friendly and helpful. I really liked the small classes, because the teacher can really focus on your learning needs. The teacher takes your needs and whishes into account, which helps to improve quickly. In class you have to speak a lot which is not always fun, but really necessary to master a language. Altogether, I definitely recommend K2 Spanish school in Cádiz!

Super happy that I chose this language school. I started off with knowing very few Spanish words but I enjoyed the lessons from day one. The teachers have been very clear and supportive and Maria is super knowledgeable. She will spend the time to make sure that you understand the concepts or new tenses. The difference between this school and the others is very clear- it is much more tailored with a more personal touch. The class sizes are small so that you feel comfortable practicing new phrases and get the most out of it. The school itself is beautiful and on a square with nice cafes so break time is relaxing on the square or on the roof terrace in the sun. It is very conveniently located and Cadiz is an absolute dream. The only downside is you feel that you will never want to leave. Would strongly recommend for any level of Spanish. I've just returned from spending a week at this fantastic little school. I opted for quite a tough week and booked the 25+5 package. The school had at least 4 levels of classes running during my time there and were able to fit me in correctly to an A2 level class. My teacher for most of the week was Inma, who was wonderful. She was clearly passionate about her work, and she obviously enjoyed teaching us. She was able to accommodate the range of experience in the class and worked very hard to include everyone in the exercises. She also made the learning great fun. By the end of my week I was completely satisfied that my confidence with the language was greatly improved. I was very happy with my week and only wish I could have stayed a lot longer!

Stayed there 4 weeks. Was deeply impressed by teachers' knowledge and ability to express and rephrase and explain/summarize grammar, especially Mariluz. Love the location.

I recently spent 7 days studying Spanish at K2 Internacional and it was a really awesome experience! The school was incredibly flexible, allowing me to start mid-week which gave me a couple of extra days to improve my Spanish. The class sizes are small and you get plenty of personalize attention. My primary instructor was Inma and she was awesome, but all of the instructors and staff are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and are great at explaining concepts clearly. They tailor the lessons to your level, and offer a good mix of grammar, writing, and speaking (often in the form of games).

The school also offers fantastic social activities, including opportunities to surf and explore local culture, making it easy to connect with other students and the beautiful city of Cadiz. I highly recommend studying here for anyone looking to improve their Spanish in a supportive and engaging environment! Thank you, I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Spain!

K2 Cádiz has an excellent group of young, entusiastic professors and after three months here I had class with several of them: Mariluz, José, Maria, Inma. All were enthusiastic, well prepared and very knowledgable of spanish language and grammar. I highly recommend the professors and the school.

(Intensive course - Summer 2022)

The school is located in the beautiful old town of Cadiz - close to the beach and surrounded by a lot of cafes, supermarkets, and restaurants. They have ACs in each room of the school - which is super important and nice during the summer season (it can get pretty warm). ;)

They teach you many tricks and the colloquial language - not only the pure grammar - so that you are able to get along and express yourself in everyday life in Spain very quickly.

There are no cohorts that start at the same level but groups that are reorganized weekly based on the experience level of each person. So it can happen that you don't start with the absolute basics of A1. This makes the introduction to the language a bit more challenging. But once you have found your footing, it becomes a bit more relaxed (after 1-2 weeks at A1 level, you have built up a good basis at A1 level in the intensive course).

All teachers are super nice, motivated and go into the class with full energy and enthusiasm - ready to go the extra mile for their students. Some teachers can speak a bit English - but be prepared to ask questions and receive answers most of the time in Spanish on A1 level in the intensive course. That will cost you some energy at the beginning (especially the first few days) but you will get better every day in speaking and understanding the language.

Overall: K2 is a great school in Cadiz to get up to speed in Spanish! The team is super nice and motivated. If you start on A1 level i recommend to learn some basics with language apps before you start your course to have a smooth start from day 1.

From the moment Joana greets you at reception, with her warm welcoming manner, you know that you’re in safe hands. K2 Cádiz is big enough to have good facilities and excellent teaching materials, yet still small enough to be flexible in approach and offer individualised learning. And with Pilar they have quite simply the best Spanish language teacher I have encountered in my six years of learning Spanish. I recommend K2 Cádiz without hesitation.

Very nice school in the heart of Cádiz! Best location of all Spanish schools in the city. The teachers are all very kind and know how to make the classes fun, exciting and educational at the same time. Accommodation is also great; nice apartments in the center of Cadiz, very close to the school. I highly recommend going to K2 if you are looking to learn Spanish in a fun and relaxed environment.

I had a great experience studying Spanish at K2 Internacional. The school itself is located in the historical city centre where you can truly admire the beauty of the city.

The teachers are very friendly, warm and encouraging. The classes are very relaxed and good to combine with other activities such as surfing, doing yoga or going sight seeing in the afternoon.

I really enjoyed learning Spanish at K2. It's a small school, which has the advantage of small class sizes and a community atmosphere. However, it does also mean that you don't meet so many people, and I found there to be less of a social scene than other larger language schools. I enjoyed the teaching style, and all of the teachers were really good at adapting their classes to the needs and interests of the students.

The school itself is in an unbeatable location and has a lot of great facilities, including a roof terrace, for the students to enjoy. Cádiz is a wonderful city to explore after the classes and the school also organises a number of affordable activities and excursions.

We spent three weeks here doing the intensive course (3 hours a day over 9:30 to 13:00). The level of tuition was just right. My partner had less Spanish than me and we were in different classes. Tutors were great and there is a very nice atmosphere in and out of class. The school arrange various extracurricular trips and activities and it is easy to make friends. The fees are very reasonable and good value. We would definitely recommend K2 and really enjoyed our time.
