About the school

A typical Nice residential area, with elegant Belle Epoque buildings and French balconies on which the green of the plants cheerfully contrasts with the cream-colored walls. Welcome to Rue Hérod, a graceful street in the old center of Nice where language school Azurlingua is located. With a 10 minutes walk from here you reach the beach and within a few minutes in you’ll reach restaurants and cafes that the city is rich. The school has a beautiful spacious courtyard, with tropical plants and a cosily terrace: an ideal place for students who want to enjoy the sun in between lessons. The school also has its own cafeteria and lounge. Azurlingua offers high-quality education accredited by Quality FLE and personal attention for the students is something the teachers have high on the list.

Nice

For every lover of French and Italian culture, Nice offers the perfect mix in the southeastern part of France. The city was influenced from the east by the Italian Piemonte and Liguria, from the north by the French Savoie and from the south by Sardinia. It is only since 1860 that the city really belongs to France, but culturally it always held a foot in Italy. You can feel this everywhere in the city, in the ocher-colored houses with high shutters in Vieux Nice, in the fresh pasta that is served at almost every corner of the street and even in the soccer-cheer 'Issa Nissa!' (Go Nice!), which is often cheered in the Nice dialect that actually sounds as French as Italian.

With its mix of an urban vibe, old-fashioned opulence, year-round sunshine, a lively street life and a beautiful seaside location, no place in France can be compared to Nice. A language course in Nice promises to be a sunny Mediterranean trip in which the Niçoi people can teach you how to enjoy life to the fullest.

Upon arrival to the school I was informed that AzurLingua can assist with a student visa renouvelment by making appointment for the document submission. Finally, nobody really did help, my visa expired and I had to return back to my country without getting a full course. Once I asked for the chargeback, my call was denied.

Bad experience with Azurlingua. Prepared a DELF B2 exam (passed): I had always to make several calls and to write multiple e-mails to get any info. Completely disorganized. The director is the most unpleasant and arrogant person I've ever met: I made a pause due to the pandemic, then I couldn't restart the lessons because the director claimed that the school was not receiving any money for my lessons. He was completely unaware of the new refunding method, I have to explain it to him and even after my explanation he obtusely continued to block my lessons. When he discovered I was right, he didn't write or call to apologies. Due to this argument my course was delayed of 1-2 months, that's unacceptable.
For those who are interested I can provide e-mails as proof.
Only positive thing, the teacher, we did a great job together.
I won't take a course with this school again.
