I spent three weeks in Lyon Bleu, what can I say, it was worth every penny! They are very flexible with the starting dates, which is not a given in France, and I've learned a lot in a short span of time thanks to Marie-Hélène. Some students call her "strict", and maybe you can... I spent three weeks in Lyon Bleu, what can I say, it was worth every penny! They are very flexible with the starting dates, which is not a given in France, and I've learned a lot in a short span of time thanks to Marie-Hélène. Some students call her "strict", and maybe you can say that she is "old school", in fact we spent a great deal of time learning about grammar in class, but for me it's really the only effective way to learn a language, so I say bravo madame!
Another great thing about the school are the students you can meet there, saying that it was a multicultural experience doesn't render it justice...young students for every corner of the world, workers, middle-aged people, everyone with a story to tell!

C'était magnifique ! I had one of the best experiences at Lyon Bleu. I studied at Lyon Bleu for two weeks, but will certainly be returning soon, hopefully. It's an incredible experience to meet people from all over the world, all studying French. Lyon Bleu offers plenty of after-class events, such as wine tastings, cooking classes, walking tours of Lyon. If you study here, make sure to take advantage of these events; I was able to make friends quickly because of this. Tea, the Coordinator, was wonderful and was able to answer all of my questions before and during my time at Lyon Bleu. My teacher Eva was so much fun. I highly recommend Lyon Bleu for those looking to improve their French language skills. Lyon is an amazing city and I am looking forward to returning soon. Thank you to everyone at Lyon Bleu for the wonderful time. I'm looking forward to coming back!

I give 5 stars. I have been to Lyon Bleu three times. The first time I chose it because I would like to find a language school which offers also home stay. Lyon Bleu was perfect match for my demand. I like the service, quality and flexibility Lyon Bleu offers. The staff from administration has always been a great help. I was lucky to have Hélène as teacher last time. I have learned within 2 weeks more than I can learn by myself for 6 months.
Besides, the location of school is in a nice area of Lyon. There are many nice bakeries and the famous park (le parc de tête d'or ) is just few minutes walk distance from school. I used to go walk there after french class. I totally recommend Lyon Bleu

Before starting my course, I received so much help from the director to sort out my visa, classes, and housing. My first month of class, taught by Eva, was truly spectacular. I then had classes with several other teachers, all equally enthusiastic and helpful.

Lyon itself is beautiful and located perfectly for those who wish to travel (with Paris, Marseille, and Geneva just a quick train ride away!).

Lyon Bleu offers stellar individualized service (of a caliber that I have never encountered at other language schools). It’s a true gem.

I did a one week intensive course, and it was really good. I can recommend everything about it. I was on holiday for the week, and I asked to do the 3 day intensive course, and I enjoyed it so much I signed on to do an extra day. The staff and teachers were all most helpful in... I had a wonderful time in my 4 weeks at Lyon Bleu. All my teachers were kind and approachable and the lessons were very well structured. Lyon is a beautiful city with much to explore and enjoy. A special thank you to Julien (my professor) and Janine (our wonderful tour guide and cooking teacher!) and Vanessa (for assigning me a wonderful host family and organising my classes). Everyone also felt immediately welcomed by the kind staff who truly wanted us to have a great time - right from the beginning. My host family (matched by Lyon Bleu) was also incredible, and I cried upon saying goodbye! Don’t hesitate to book with Lyon Bleu. :)
