I spent three weeks in Lyon Bleu, what can I say, it was worth every penny! They are very flexible with the starting dates, which is not a given in France, and I've learned a lot in a short span of time thanks to Marie-Hélène. Some students call her "strict", and maybe you can say that she is "old school", in fact we spent a great deal of time learning about grammar in class, but for me it's really the only effective way to learn a... Another great thing about the school are the students you can meet there, saying that it was a multicultural experience doesn't render it justice...young students for every corner of the world, workers, middle-aged people, everyone with a story to tell!

C'était magnifique ! I had one of the best experiences at Lyon Bleu. I studied at Lyon Bleu for two weeks, but will certainly be returning soon, hopefully. Registration and information about my time here was clear and specific, and the staff warmly welcomed me on my first day. It's an incredible experience to meet people from all over the world, all studying French. Lyon Bleu offers plenty of after-class events, such as wine... C'était magnifique ! If you study here, make sure to take advantage of these events; I was able to make friends quickly because of this. Tea, the Coordinator, was wonderful and was able to answer all of my questions before and during my time at Lyon Bleu. My teacher Eva was so much fun. I highly recommend Lyon Bleu for those looking to improve their French language skills. Lyon is an amazing city and I am looking forward to returning soon. Thank you to everyone at Lyon Bleu for the wonderful time. I'm looking forward to coming back!

I give 5 stars. I have been to Lyon Bleu three times. The first time I chose it because I would like to find a language school which offers also home stay. Lyon Bleu was perfect match for my demand. I started with A2 level. It is no problem to come here with zero French too.
I like the service, quality and flexibility Lyon Bleu offers. The staff from administration has always been a great help. I was lucky to have Hélène as... I give 5 stars. Besides, the location of school is in a nice area of Lyon. There are many nice bakeries and the famous park (le parc de tête d'or ) is just few minutes walk distance from school. I used to go walk there after french class. I totally recommend Lyon Bleu

I arrived in Lyon with zero French knowledge (A1.1), and thanks to Lyon Bleu, I left three months later with a B2 level!

Before starting my course, I received so much help from the director to sort out my visa, classes, and housing. My first month of class, taught by Eva, was truly spectacular. I then had classes with several other teachers, all equally enthusiastic and helpful.

Lyon itself is beautiful and... I arrived in Lyon with zero French knowledge (A1.1), and thanks to Lyon Bleu, I left three months later with a B2 level!

Before starting my course, I received so much help from the director to sort out my visa, classes, and housing. My first month of class, taught by Eva, was truly spectacular. I then had classes with several other teachers, all equally enthusiastic and helpful.

Lyon itself is beautiful and located perfectly for those who wish to travel (with Paris, Marseille, and Geneva just a quick train ride away!).

Lyon Bleu offers stellar individualized service (of a caliber that I have never encountered at other language schools). It’s a true gem.

I did a one week intensive course, and it was really good. I can recommend everything about it. I was on holiday for the week, and I asked to do the 3 day intensive course, and I enjoyed it so much I signed on to do an extra day. The staff and teachers were all most helpful in both languages and I thought it was good value for money. Enjoy! Profitez! I did a one week intensive course, and it was really good. I had a wonderful time in my 4 weeks at Lyon Bleu. All my teachers were kind and approachable and the lessons were very well structured. Lyon is a beautiful city with much to explore and enjoy. There is also a sense of friendship among the students facilitated by the great number of activities we can participate in. A special thank you to Julien (my professor) and Janine (our wonderful tour guide and cooking teacher!) and Vanessa... I had a wonderful time in my 4 weeks at Lyon Bleu. All my teachers were kind and approachable and the lessons were very well structured. Lyon is a beautiful city with much to explore and enjoy. There is also a sense of friendship among the students facilitated by the great number of activities we can participate in. A special thank you to Julien (my professor) and Janine (our wonderful tour guide and cooking teacher!) and Vanessa (for assigning me a wonderful host family and organising my classes). Everyone also felt immediately welcomed by the kind staff who truly wanted us to have a great time - right from the beginning. My host family (matched by Lyon Bleu) was also incredible, and I cried upon saying goodbye! Don’t hesitate to book with Lyon Bleu. :)

I highly recommend this language school. The professors are kind and teach with good energy (merci Anne et Felipe). Also, the school communicated with me and took the time to find the perfect schedule and classes for me. Sandra is especially friendly and helpful. (Merci Sandra!) I am so happy I enrolled in a one week French course at Lyon-Bleu International. It was professional every step of the way and I felt very supported throughout the process. Registering for classes was straightforward and the administration was very helpful and responsive. My class was wonderful and I enjoyed having a theme (ie education or food or pop culture) around which discussion and learning topics were centered — it was a great... I am so happy I enrolled in a one week French course at Lyon-Bleu International. It was professional every step of the way and I felt very supported throughout the process. Registering for classes was straightforward and the administration was very helpful and responsive. My class was wonderful and I enjoyed having a theme (ie education or food or pop culture) around which discussion and learning topics were centered — it was a great way to learn material that could be applied to everyday conversation! As an American, I also loved being in a classroom with students from all countries and hearing various perspectives about how the education system and trends differ across countries. Felipe, our instructor, was very enthusiastic, prepared, and thoughtful — he makes learning so engaging and fun! The highlights of the week were making new friends and the cultural activities offered by the school (such as tours of Lyon, a cheese tasting, a home cooked dinner hosted by Janine). I highly recommend LBI — my advice is to take advantage of all the opportunities! You will not regret taking a class here :)

I don’t even know where to start on how lucky I am to have found this school. Everything is well-thought: lessons, schedule, additional classes, tutoring, tours, location, etc.

Teachers are so understanding, passionate, and with deep knowledge of the language and cultures around the world. I felt super welcomed and motivated to carry on studying.

Students are diverse and there is a unique connection between... I don’t even know where to start on how lucky I am to have found this school. Everything is well-thought: lessons, schedule, additional classes, tutoring, tours, location, etc.

Teachers are so understanding, passionate, and with deep knowledge of the language and cultures around the world. I felt super welcomed and motivated to carry on studying.

Students are diverse and there is a unique connection between all. Everyone I had met was keen on speaking French and getting to know each other better without any prejudice.

In addition, I highly appraise the cultural program every day. When you are new in the city it is worth a lot be occupied and surrounded by the others.

We just returned from four weeks in Lyon with three weeks of French language studies with Lyon Bleu. This was probably one of the most intensive and powerful language learning experiences I have had. The staff are great folks, helpful, caring, and true professionals. Our instructor was experienced and prepared, giving us individual attention in a small class setting. The extended time every day of hearing and speaking only French... We just returned from four weeks in Lyon with three weeks of French language studies with Lyon Bleu. This was probably one of the most intensive and powerful language learning experiences I have had. The staff are great folks, helpful, caring, and true professionals. Our instructor was experienced and prepared, giving us individual attention in a small class setting. The extended time every day of hearing and speaking only French was game changing for me, and the instructors were good at speaking at a speed that was at the same time understandable and driving us forward. I also enjoyed meeting the other students in the class who were from all over the world. We also really enjoyed Lyon! It is one of the most interesting cities I have visited. I can say that this was a great experience for me and that I hope to spend more time learning with the Lyon Bleu team. Thank you team!!
