I spent two weeks at El Rincón del Tandém Spanish School and had a super-excellent experience. During the first week, I took the B1 intensive course, and in the second week I did a photography-focused program with Victor. Both were fantastic!

My B1 instructor, Paula, was so great! She was especially good at speaking and explaining concepts at our B1 level. This was my first experience at an international language school, so I wasn’t sure what to expect and can’t really compare it to other programs, but my experience was honestly amazing. The classroom environment felt very comfortable and familiar, almost family-like, while still being structured and professional. Paula made sure everyone had regular opportunities to practice producing Spanish, especially speaking, and she created a space where people from all walks of life interacted with ease.

The second week, working with Victor on photography, was a wonderful complement to the language instruction. Although the classrooms in the school are bright and comfortable, it was great to spend time out walking and experiencing Valencia.

I chose Valencia because we have family there and I’ve visited many times, and the school’s location is spectacular. You are right in the heart of the city, with access to anything you could want to eat or experience. The Turia river park, where you can run or walk for miles, is also very close by and easy to enjoy before or after class.

Overall, this was a high-quality, welcoming, and very personal experience that completely exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely recommend El Rincón del Tandém Spanish School to anyone looking to learn Spanish in a comfortable and inspiring environment.

The classes are quite small, which means you receive plenty of individual attention and support from the teacher. Spanish is taught in a variety of engaging ways, such as conversations with classmates, games, and working with a textbook, which makes the lessons both effective and enjoyable.

The school also organizes activities, which are fun and a great way to practice Spanish outside the classroom. The teachers and staff are very friendly and always willing to help if you have any questions. The overall atmosphere at the school is warm and welcoming.

I am very satisfied with the way I learned Spanish at El Rincón del Tándem.

Great staff and small class sizes, which makes learning enjoyable. I also appreciated the flexibility to choose between 2 or 4 hours of classes per day. A very nice place to learn spanish!

Highly recommend for studying Spanish in Valencia. Teaching staff is excellent, well prepared, and thoughtful in approaching each student’s needs. I enjoyed the well structured lessons, speaking practice, and the many cultural and community events organized by the school. It was fun and enjoyable to learn (A2-B2) levels and I advanced rapidly thanks to the teachers! Very professional staff and lots of personal attention and support. I loved learning here!

Honestly, I wish I didn’t even have to write this review. My partner and I spent a month living in Valencia and took the four-hour classes each day while we were there. Not only did we feel like we gained so much in one-month period (she did level A1 and I did B1) but it made our time in Valencia so much more special. Plus, it made us feel more integrated into the city and the community because of all the extra conversations you have with the teachers and classmates. I had Coral and Andrea as my teachers and can’t speak highly enough about them. If we could have, we would have extended our time in Valencia even further and continued the classes. Instead, I’m back in the U.S. and wishing I was still in Valencia taking classes.

El Rincón del Tándem was the best thing I have done in Valencia. I did the intensive course (4 hours per week) for a while then two hours a week. They are accommodating. After a month the teachers rotate which is great to get new exposure. Both my professoras were outstanding. Very patient, helpful, engaging and fun. The classes are a perfect balance of lecture, exercises (often in pairs or groups) and games/activities. They also keep you abreast of events in the city and host many things themselves.

I had private classes for two weeks. I was very happy with the structure of the classes and with the teachers. They explained all my doubts in Spanish language very well with lots of examples.

Everyone in school is very friendly and try to accommodate all the students’ wishes.

There are organized group activities after classes. I haven’t attended but I heard that students had a lot of fun.

The location of the school is great. Lots of restaurants in the neighborhood and young vibrant atmosphere.

I highly recommend this school. I am planning to go back there in the future.

The books are the best I have ever seen: very practical and intelligently structured. Teachers are young, knowledgeable, highly skilled, and very nice and attentive. The secretariat is very kind and supportive. In general, you experience a closeness which is rare. Not to forget to mention that the school is located in one of the best areas of Valencia ❣️

Highly recommended!

I needed to learn Spanish from zero and I decided to join an intensive course. The lessons were interactive and had different interesting topic, in addition there are afternoon activities to get more in touch with Spanish and Spanish culture. The teachers are available and kind. The class had the right amount of students so that everyone can interact. The owners and the customer service are always willing to help you. And last but not least the quality price ratio is excellent.

I highly recommend this language school, I studied here for 7.5 months and highly improved my Spanish ability in a short space of time, starting at A2 and achieving B2 level by the time I finished my course.

Also the classes are a lot of fun with varied activities and a fun atmosphere, thanks again!

I had a fantastic experience at El Rincón del Tándem - I can't recommend the school enough!

Everybody is incredibly kind and friendly, from the teachers to the reception staff, and welcome you warmly into their community.

The teachers are knowledgable and professional and my classes were very enjoyable. Teachers use a mix of interactive resources (text-books, worksheets, videos, music, games) to maximise learning. Throughout the course, your level is assessed and your progress is tracked. Class sizes are relatively small so there is always an opportunity to address individual needs and questions. Staff are quick to respond to your emails/questions and happy to give you extra resources if needed.

I took the intensive course which consisted of 4 hours per day - I arrived not speaking a single word of Spanish, and I have left with my B1 certificate!

The school is located in a safe and lively neighbourhood, easy to reach via public transport or on foot. The school facilities are always clean and comfortable, with well equipped classrooms.

The school hold weekly events to practice your Spanish - it is a great way to learn about the city, Spanish culture in general and to make friends.

I would strongly recommend the school to anybody looking to improve their Spanish in a fun and friendly environment.

Thank you again for everything!

Emily:)

Very friendly school well situated in Razafa a fun neighborhood to stay also. Our teacher Andrea was very fun and patient as we came from Australia, Brazil and Russia. The school was very quick to respond to questions or help with anything. They organize a social outing with present and past students on what’s app to practice Spanish. 19.30 so all classes can attend. They also send an email with cultural events and organize an outing most weeks best suited to morning classes as starts at 18.00 usually. Highly recommend tried 2 others previously. Cheers Jules
