Learn Italian at Cultura Italiana

Learn to speak fluent Italian in a medieval palace in the middle of the historical center of Bologna. Sounds tempting? It is possible at language school Cultura Italiana, this school is located in the castle Palazzo Pepoli. Obviously, the historical details are also reflected in the cozy interior of the school, which feels homely: beautiful wooden school benches, lots of art, cheerful yellow walls and even a piano. Only 100 meters walking from the two most famous towers of Bologna: the Due Torri. Special about this school is that the teachers do their very best to encourage the students to surround themselves as much as possible with local Italians. After class, a lot of activities are organized: from city walks and history and art trips to culinary tours through a parmesan cheese factory or authentic vineyard. Students can also visit fashion fabrics or mechanical factories (Ducati, Maserati, Lamborghini, Ferrari). Cultura Italiana (1980) is the first school recognized by the Italian state as an "Italian language school for foreigners" and the Italian lessons are of high quality.

We took a one week intensive course with very little prior Italian knowledge. The classes are all in Italian but the teachers are great at conveying the grammar and lessons to beginners. The teachers are also very engaged and welcoming. The school offers just enough extra... We took a one week intensive course with very little prior Italian knowledge. The school offers just enough extra activities, both free and at a reasonable extra cost. Wished we had stayed longer! We definitely recommend staying with a homestay family!

I did a 4 weeks intensive course in agoust before my erasmus began, without knowing anything more than 'ciao' and 'grazie' and after the first week you can see important changes. Prices are not cheap, but the classmates from all countries that in this time are your familly and... Prices are not cheap, but the classmates from all countries that in this time are your familly and the teachers are the best you can have. The lessons method will make you forget that you are in a school, and you will learn quickly.

After one year I can say that in that time I made very good friends, we were like a family, and is a very important piece of my italian adventure, thanks to them I could understand university lessons without problems and do easier my life here in bologna.
