Learn English at LILA Liverpool in Liverpool, England

My experience with Lila was very good. Liverpool wasn't my first choice of destination, but I was surprised with the level of structure and teaching at Lila, considering its costs (in comparison to other destinations).
The teachers (Andy, Jack, and David) were friendly and helpful. They really know how to make us involved in class and participate. The infrastructure was also very good, especially compared to the other schools... My experience with Lila was very good. In terms of location, it's great too. Shops, food (cheap or good restaurants), transport, accommodations, etc, everything you need will be found near Lila.
The accommodation which I was allocated to was also great, and the school made effort so I was happy with it.
I would also like to send compliments to Jim and the whole office staff, who supported me and made it an unforgettable experience.
The downside were the activities. It's not enough advertised among the students (like, one staff member could go around the classes to offer it / adverrise it, or make a whatsapp group to mention interesting activities, etc...). That lead to some empty activity groups (such as a sports day with only 2 people). A friend also said that there was no staff to go along the group in their trip to Anfield.
So I think the activities part could be better advertised and get some more atrention, as it's important to practice and help students socialize (lot's of shy people, and even more groups that only speak in their own language with their countrymen, closed groups that are always together). I'm very social, but I didn't make a lot of foreign friends at Lila, as foreigners arent as open to new friendships as brazilians... I think with some sports or activities it could've been different 😅.
But this didn't ruin my experience. I believe Lila will keep growing, and I fully support people to choose Lila.

I was at language school for 2 weeks. It was a really fun, nice and cool time. I have really improved my English. The language school works with a company called “Daytripper Liverpool”. That's really cool because they work together to plan day trips that aren't that expensive and really interesting. One of my best memories of the 2 weeks was a trip to Slowdonia. In addition, the school times are perfectly fine. You learn with many... I was at language school for 2 weeks. It was a really fun, nice and cool time. I have really improved my English. One of my best memories of the 2 weeks was a trip to Slowdonia. In addition, the school times are perfectly fine. You learn with many different cultures and learn English together. There are different levels to help you develop your English perfectly. There are lots of activities including you can play table tennis during the break and sometimes there are some snacks like waffles with chocolate, strawberries and banana which are really good. We also did a photo competition and took photos of Liverpool and chose which one was the best. In the end we have a winner. That was a cool activity you did at school.

All in all, I can only say that the 2 weeks were an exciting, varied and fun experience. I learned a lot and am very grateful that I was able to be here.

It was a great experience for my kids. The LILA team is kind and attentive and they're always willing to help and solve any problems or concerns you may have.
