About the school

Language school LILA was founded in Liverpool in 2004 as an independent English academy by the two sisters Leanne Linacre and Victoria Lee. Leanne and Victoria found that there was a need for more quality schools in the north of England and Liverpool was the perfect choice. LILA is an innovative language school in the city center of Liverpool. It is a medium-sized school with a familiar atmosphere and the quality of education is key. The lessons are accredited by, among others, the British Council. The school is located in a modern building in a bustling street. You only have to step out the door to find cafes and restaurants. The interior of the school is practical and modern and the classrooms are bright thanks to the many windows. Also nice to know: the school organizes weekly social activities where students can practice the English language in an informal way.

Liverpool

There’s always something to do in Liverpool. The city, located in the west of Great Britain, has so much to offer: countless events and attractions, the world-class Liverpool Football Club, and the musical heritage that gave us the Beatles. With the second largest collection of museums and galleries in the whole of England (after London), culture is ever-present here. The city’s atmosphere is complex; while it has been plagued by social issues for decades, it’s also been an industrial and commercial epicenter, and the love Liverpoolians feel for their city is nearly palpable. Liverpool is an amazing place to learn English if you want to get a chance to explore this vibrant and exciting city.

İn 2020 I joined English course at LİLA Liverpool. I miss those days very much. I had very fantastic and productive time with my teachers Laura, David and Jim. Managers were very hospitable and helpful. Theachers were very kind, talkative, helpful and experienced. Also that school was very modern, classes were very clean. Believe me this school is very good for all people.

This school is located city centre, so you can find easily. By the way, public transport is very close to that school. But I stayed in accomodation so I used to walk school but not too much far. İt takes like 15 minutes on foot.

İn that school, after lessons I attended free English classes with trainee teachers. Lessons were pretty good. I advice all people who wants to come this school. Thank you LİLA family God bless you all😊

I spent nine great weeks at the Lila language school. The school is centrally located in Liverpool, the facilities are good and the teachers are just great. Special thanks to Harry and Laura, you are simply the best.
I would recommend anyone to come here and I hope I can come again.
The students come from many different countries, so you use the English you learn a lot.
Liverpool is probably the best city I have ever been to, very friendly people and a great mentality.

I had a great time here. I can only recommend this school. Very centrally located and the team is very friendly. Nick the teacher is very experienced and competent. He immediately recognized where we should focus on. I thank him and wish him all the best for the future. Keep it up! Harry was also very competent and very friendly, thanks mate! I also thank Jim and Simone who are very helpful. They make you feel part of the family. Whether adult or young people, no matter what level, they will find the perfect program for you. I recommend this school 100%!
