The school has 25 classrooms, a roof terrace with views over the city, a cozy lounge with piano, a well-stocked library, a professionally equipped kitchen and a dining room with ceiling paintings. The friendly staff and teachers of the school regularly organize activities where students can practice their Italian in an informal way and hang out with their classmates. The Italian lessons at the school are of good quality and accredited.

"Brilliant teachers and practical language learning in Siena"

"Genuinely the best language learning experience I have ever had. the teachers were brilliant and helped you not only understand the language but use it in practice around the city while also giving you a lesson on history and the local culture, I could not recommend this highly enough. My teacher Livia was a highlight of my experience and I hope others get to learn from her as she helped make the language actually stick and by the end of my time in Italy I was able to have small conversations and navigate the country comfortably. Whenever I stop by Siena to see the palio again I will be swinging by to say hello."

"Excellent teachers and immersive Italian in Siena"

"I spent three weeks at Dante Alighieri, in level B1 class and it was an exceptional experience. I had taken Italian classes in Italy before in Florence so I knew a little bit of what to expect. I tell anyone I speak to who considers doing this, that if Italian language acquisition is your goal, taking a class in Italy is the way to go. This school in Siena is a great option! The staff and teachers are all kind and helpful. You have so many opportunities to practice speaking plus the class is really helpful for grammar and verbs. Our class was also very fun, we played games and everyone had lots of opportunities to practice speaking. The class was a mix of ages and countries so the only language we all had in common was Italian. I really believe that if you have the option to take a class like this, it is so worth it. My Italian has progressed so much thanks to my time at Dante Alighieri Siena."
