About the school

Right in the center of fashion city Milan, in the popular shopping district of Corso Bueonos Aires, you will find language school Lingadue that has been around for almost twenty years. The school is housed in a chic Art Nouveau building that perfectly reflects the elegance of Milan. That is why you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this Italian city during the Italian lessons at this school. A special feature of this school is the partnership with educational institutions focused on design, architecture and fashion. Many Lingadue language students therefore work or study within these industries. The school has 13 bright classrooms, a nice tropical garden to relax in in between classes and some public computers that are free to use as a student. Because the school is located in the middle of the bustling heart of Milan, many boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Around the corner of the school lies the metro stop Lima, from here you can quickly and easily reach other neighborhoods in Milan.

Milan

Welcome to the Italian city of the future. Sometimes it seems that Milan immediately jumped from the Renaissance into the 21st century. If we look at post-war development, this city with its futuristic skyline and modern architecture, runs far beyond the other Italian metropolises. Creativity and commerce are big business here and there are ambitious plans to turn Milan into a high-tech hub and home base for companies such as Apple and Google. With all these modern developments we almost forget that the city was once ruled by the Napoleons and Ceasars of the world and that they left behind a rich cultural history. The art and culture scene in the city is therefore a perfect mix between the genius masterpieces of old masters and contemporary modern art and design of today’s Italian creatives. The rich urban culture can also be found in the Milanese kitchen full of refined dishes. Think of local specialties such as saffron risotto, but also leave your appartment for worldly dishes like high class sushi or Vietnamese ramen. If you want to learn the Italian language in a fast metropolis with a large sense of Italian style, Milan is the perfect address.

The professors and the staff were up to my expectations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone willing to learn the language. The school is clean, spacious, it has a patio and few bars nearby to grab coffee or a snack. The school is located in a nice area and it's not too far from the Duomo. If you enjoy walking, there are many places to visit.

I am currently one month into the course and i have had no problem so far. I think I have progressed in my Italian. Sometimes it's too slow for me but that's probably because i speak spanish. The classes are small. My level has about 12 students and everyday someone is absent.

Hi everyone ! I am from Belgium and I spent 12 weeks in this school to learn Italian from level A2 to B2 (15 hours per week). As for the school and infrastructure, the new place where the school is located is really nice in the Navigli area with all the bars and restaurants close by, it's a pleasure to go there. I felt very comfortable in this school. As for the lessons, the Nuovo Espresso books follow with additional exercises and many communication activities that allow you to put theory into practice. As for the people who work there, the management and secretariat are very welcoming and helpful and most importantly, the teachers I have had are wonderful! A special mention to Antonella with whom we learn a lot and is always in a good mood. Students from all over the world are also often very nice people. It was a very nice experience that I recommend to everyone who wants to learn Italian in Milan. :)

For those who want to do an exchange, I advise you to look for schools that are better prepared and updated, better known and with content.
I didn't like the experience, I left school in the first week after having paid for 2 months of the course, one of the reasons was the rude and arrogant receptionist (she didn't like it when I asked if it would be possible to get a more updated teaching method), because teachers did not even know how to communicate directly with students and this makes it difficult for each one to perform, since trust is lacking. The option was to look for another institution that would offer a course with more up-to-date and educated professionals. Reception staff are rude and the teaching method is late. For those who want to learn the language in a thousand years, it is a great choice.
Expensive school for what it has to offer...
“Zero stars since there's no way to give less”
