# Learn Spanish in Benalmádena
9.4 The school in Benalmádena scores 9.4/10 based on 164 reviews
Grilled sardines sizzle over open fires along the promenade at Benalmádena Costa. Up the hill, whitewashed lanes climb toward a castle built as a tribute to Columbus, and down at the marina, masts line up against the Mediterranean. This coastal town splits into three distinct pockets, a hillside pueblo, the commercial hub of Arroyo de la Miel, and that beachfront strip, giving a language trip here a genuinely lived-in backdrop rather than a classroom-only setting. Just one school teaches Spanish here: [Colegio Maravillas](https://www.extralingo.com/en/language-schools/spanish/spain/benalmádena/colegio-maravillas), a 15-minute walk from the beach. With only one school in town, there is no side-by-side comparison to make, just a single, clear option to look into.
